You gotta appreciate Chris for solving the whole thing. Neil wasn´t even in Moscow at the time. Maybe he was too depressed to go. But I think too that he should have gone there and help Chris.
Interviewer:
-What would you tell someone about yourself if you wanted to impress them?

Chris:
-I´ve got a 12-inch plonker.

For whatever reasons he did not go, its best that we do not judge him for not being there.

Lena, first of all you query the date of the interview, then you query why Neil isn't in Moscow. It seems that you were going to stir things up anyway.

As for PSB Girl, who's judging? Read Dipso's post and you might get a grasp of what the situation maybe. At least your post was slightly different for once and you used the word ''we'' instead of the usual ''i'' and ''me'' in all the posts you make.

Although Arseholes would be more appropriate.

As I mentioned earlier, UK citizens need a visa to enter Russia. Neil couldn't just go there spontaneously. Chris was in Moscow when the accident happened, Neil was not.

Lena wrote: Besides, if to trust of.site, the declared concert in Moscow have cancelled because of Dainton’s death. Hаh! It means it is possible for him to go to the theatre and restaurants , but to sing on the concert for Russian fans, who already are tired of waiting them, is impossible?! Double standards anyway! There are not enough fans in Russia. Pet Shop Boys are not waited in Russia, except for about 50-100 real fans in person. The PSB (with their cancellings) will end up that in general no one fan remains and the psb will not be needed to anybody there!
The concert in Moscow hasn't been officially cancelled, has it? (Please correct me if I am wrong.) The official site says:

The Moscow concert planned for November 7th did not go on sale at the beginning of this week as planned because of the tragic accident there. We are currently in discussion with the promoters about when this concert will take place.

This is an unusual and difficult situation and one that the Pets presumably need to give a lot of thought to. Whatever decision they make won't be taken lightly. Imagine how conflicted Chris may feel about returning to Moscow.

Is it just me or have Russians lately been taking cues from he-man (yet curiously unmarried) Putin to be pushy, xenophobic and obnoxiousy nationalist?

Yep, my country too. But there's thriving, robust dissent- but this era is ending here as 2008 looms. That's another issue.

Love the slam that PSB only have a few hundred Russian fans. Maybe if they'd stop attacking and brutalizing gay people there'd be a few thousand more at concerts.

Oh no, not again ...
"I think it’s an amazingly good album, I’ve got to be honest with you. It’s one of the albums I feel most proud of. But for people who don’t really know us, and have a sort of an idea about us, ‘Electric’ is more what the Pet Shop Boys are meant to be."
(Neil Tennant, speaking about "Elysium" on the eve of "Electric" release.)

Hah! I laugh to tears! You’re not a fan actually! What a fan you are if the question of being a fan depends for you on opinions of others????
So don’t bother you answering me anymore I will ignore you completely.

Pet Shop Girl with Dave Gahan on avatar? Very interesting… Haven’t you mixed up the forums, girl? But may I guess? You sale pets, don’t you? Or maybe you have to deal with hamsters and “something” like that?
Pet Shop Girl wrote: Why would you say that about Neil
What a stupid question! I have already answered it! Read attentively!

Undertaker wrote:Lena, then you query why Neil isn't in Moscow.
Really? Where did I write it? May be you mean psb-freak?
But OK, you’re right, you’ve twigged me, I wanted Neil in Moscow!!! He-he-he!
Dipso wrote:As I mentioned earlier, UK citizens need a visa to enter Russia. Neil couldn't just go there spontaneously.
Don’t you think Chris had a visa but Neil hadn’t? Of course he had it too!

psb-freak wrote: But I think too that he should have gone there and help Chris.
And I thinking that Neil might
jump on a plane
and surprise Chris where
he was
but did he want him there?

Excuse me for such ripoff.

What a beautiful name! Nice to meet you, Arseholes!

Dipso wrote: The concert in Moscow hasn't been officially cancelled, has it?
It’s already officially. There won’t be the concert in Moscow. Maybe in the spring but nobody believes in it.
Dipso wrote: Imagine how conflicted Chris may feel about returning to Moscow.
They will return to Russia more and more times but only for messing around not touring as ussialy.

Yes, Russia is a homophobic country and will always be!
But don’t provoke people. Why Tennant always mentions gay theme almost in every interview? It’s not interesting anymore! But he still can’t settle down!

This girl Lena has issues, major ones. You call yourself a Pet Shop Boys fan, Lena? Doesn't look like it. You thrive on controversy for nothing. Go debate with a friend of yours about other more important issues, that is what you need to do or take a chill. Nobody on this forum has spoken such nonsense like you. You can keep on your mad rant, but ya know what I have better things to do then to see your crap, judging Neil for no reason. You ought to be ashamed to be on this forum to begin with. Therefore you are on my famous ignore list, so rant all night, I won't be able to see it.

She signed up 18 months ago and waits until now to make her first post - causing a stir in the process!

TROLL ALERT!

Visas are not open ended. Tourist visas to Russia are valid for only 30 days. You wouldn't apply for one unless you planned to travel.

Maybe she had to wait for the power to be turned on again.

Either that or she's been inside!

Hey that's really annoying, whenever I read a post, arguments arise after page 1.
The best thing we should do now is to sit back and support the boys, not arguing wht's wrong/right and what the boys should do. After all it's none of our business! (I bet the boys must say so)
