I think that dude was totally real and didnt understand all the praise coming his way was all a joke. on american idol try-outs part early on,its full of people who sincerly think they are good who just have no one in their lives to tell them they suck.

I totally believe the guy doesnt understand why he is banned and thinks its because steve is jealous because he cant sing as good as him.

I don't think he could be real. Come on!
Otherwise, why would he have called in to an Australian radio show...

As I've already tried to explain, new users need to show they can post something worthwhile (which 99% of other users do, hence this doesn't happen often at all), not take the p*ss from post 1. I see no point in keeping a new user on who posts utter drivel and nothing but utter drivel and breaks forum rules, regardless of the supposed amusement factor involved. Those who laughed were laughing at him, not with him.

That's not strictly true now, is it? As Oscar Wilde once said, 'We're all in the gutter but some of us are wearing Victorins black pants.'

I don't know or care what motivates him. For all we know he could having big fat laugh at everyone on here, but one thing's for certain, some of his cover version are far more interesting, original and heartfelt than half the questionable cover versions we've had posted before.

FFS, 'What are you eating/drinking at present?' Give me strength.

BTW, have you seen 'Die Welle'?

the first 2 videos I chuckled to myself. then people praised him just to be cute and then... he started opening thread after thread for his songs.

it was that point I was reminded of the line from the terminator.

"Listen and understand. That a victor5 is out there. It can't be bargained with, it can't be reasoned with. It doesn't feel pity, or remorse, or fear, and it absolutely will not stop. Ever. Until you have your ears destroyed. " or something like that.

there was no way else this was going to end except with his banning.

How many threads has he started on Zeus' forum? I believe he is being ridiculed there as well.

We know that. Who's to say that or I aren't unfeeling cyborgs? Victorin wasn't created by the dear Lord but man, and now it's payback time.

He's being treated with love. There's no amount of ridicule unless you count Davy, who doesn't like the songs. Still, he likes his body. Every word is the word of truth. If I say his music brings tears to my eyes, that's what it does. I tell no lie :shifty:

Would the tears be from the intense pain in your ears, by any chance?

In the history of PSB forums, I don't believe that there has ever been a time where users had to prove themselves before being accepted by the God-like moderators. With the exception of Sky - and perhaps this place now? - it has always been the general rule that everybody could post and that posting rights would only be removed in the case of repeated cases of completely unacceptable behaviour. It appears that not too many users here regard Victors posts as constituting completely unacceptable behaviour.

How many other times has it happened? I can't actually think of another example at the moment. Everyone else manages to prove themselves by posting in a normal manner, not spamming the forum from the start. There's nothing 'God like' about it in banning a new user who continually spams the forum.

Or you are over-reactive. I see exactly nobody who supports your decision to ban this user, while I see several users questioning this ban and wondering why it was so necessary.

Whether people were laughing at or with him is not relevant. He's an adult, it's his decision to post his singing clips and shirtless pics. He's old enough to decide about such things; he's not a 12-year old that needs protection or so.

I fail to understand at what point he broke forum rules. Can you please explain which rules he broke? And if he did break rules, he could have been *warned* rather than banned immediately. It's not as if his posts are the most shocking thing I ever saw over here. To call his posts "utter drivel" is just very subjective. Some people post here to discuss Erasure, the English football competition or their wounded knee, others post YouTube clips of themselves singing covers.

I don't care that much about his ban, what annoys me is that he was banned without any warning. He didn't get a chance to adapt his posting behaviour. And that's simply unfair if you compare it with the homophobes, ever-returning psycho's and other idiots who join and re-join this place. There's a lot more patience for such users.

So before you even start to apply forum rules and take measurements, you should make sure that every (new) users is treated in the same way.
