Wow. Roddick played great today but Murray is a bit of a bad loser walking off court without waiting for him. And of course the BBC say nothing.

Roger would have waited.
I like Roddick. He seems like a decent bloke, and his wife is dead fit too.

It's a shame the camera didn't go a bit lower.
Is Hewitt's missus that lass from Home and Away or Neighbours? I'm sure she was in one of them.
The Tennis WAGS need to have their own tourny. There are too many women players turning into Shemales.
It's a pity that Jelena Jankovic isnt the prettiest because she's fit as f*ck

Although not always my fave' person, we were pretty pleased with Hewitt's good run.
Wiki says "Becs" was on Home And Away and explains why I knowing nothing about it.
Will stay up late to watch The Ashes.

Yes, that wasn't cricket.Patrick Bateman wrote:Wow. Roddick played great today but Murray is a bit of a bad loser walking off court without waiting for him.
She was never bored because she was never boring.
Re: The tennis thread
Just perusing the BBC minute-by-minute report from Centre Court, I happen on this:
Federer 5-7 7-6 (8-6) 7-6 (7-5) 2-4* Roddick
A-Rod throws up his arms in despair after a Fed ace comes past him, suggesting to the ump that he wasn't ready. "Well, if you're not ready, just say," says ump, not unreasonably. Roddick wins the next two points but Fed closes it out with another ace.

While it's not quite U2=BBC, they've certainly made an impact in 2009, haven't they...

Re: The tennis thread
Murray really doesn't have the weapons to trouble Federer over a 5 setter. Unlike Del Potro, in the US Open final, he could just unleash that massive forehand, Murray's variety didn't really trouble Federer that much. He had a small window of opportunity to take the third set in the tie break and he didn't take it. A combination of being too passive and his first serve not working made it fairly easy work for Federer.
I wish Nadal's injury problems would clear up as he's really the only one out there capable of matching Federer in the majors. Last years Aus Open final was a joy to watch. Still, congrats to Federer, what a difference a year makes.

Re: The tennis thread
I think Nadal's had it to be honest. He was a shadow of himself against Murray.
Federer's just ridiculously good. Murray had been playing the best tennis of his career and Federer made him look insignificant. Still like you said he should have won that tie-break.

It's also quite refreshing for a top sportsman to be just that. Theres never any bad press. Never cheats or moans and disrespects other professionals. He's not even big headed and he probably has every right to be.
