I was all set to lump big on Williams to win the tournament when he was on top in the semi. He was playing so well - and the Wizard of Wishaw was struggling. Phew.

I was just looking at the qualifying draw for this year's tournament. It's mad some of the players on there. Apart from Davis and White, the likes of Tony Drago and James Wattana are still around.

All four have done really well to stay on the tour. Davis is 54 and White 50 this year. Jimmy White's ranking has actually improved over the past year from 63 - 48 and he's got a testimonial this year which is well deserved.

John Parrott is coming out of retirement too to play in the qualifiers.

Hendry through; White and Davis out.

Watched all three games on the net. Hendry played ok. Davis was bad and White very unlucky. Liuang who beat Jimmy 10-8, then went on to beat Jamie Cope 10-7. China are getting a healthy number of players coming through. Cant wait for this to start now.

Drago lost and is now off the Pro Tour. Doherty v Hamilton Saturday night was a fantastic game.

Wow, Hendry just made a maximum!!!!!
