I love synths, but there are some places that they just don't belong... On the plus side, you can actually understand what Stipe is singing in this version!

Currently listening to the latest greatest hits. That line "you are the greatest thing since bread came sliced" is still godawful. I struggle to think of a worse lyric.

I think that tune "all the way to reno(your going to be a star) was their best tune. it kinds reminded me of a PSB ballad with orchestra.

That lyric is bad because you can tell it is obviously written to be very clever and arch. As bad as a Robbie Williams 'pun'
