Fox News at its height only has 3 million viewers a day. We have over 300 million in our country. It's just that their loud and upsetting and you hear about that more.

I'm not sure that Obama came from a family with a lot of money either.

But, yeah, 95 out of 100 Americans don't even know the involvement of the US in central America a few decades ago.

I wonder how many Americans are aware of the OTHER September 11. The one in Chile in 1973, when the democratically elected Allende was overthrown and murdered in a CIA backed military coup in order that the neocon hawks of the Chicago school of economics could have their first real-life laboratory to work in. They repeated the experiment 12 years later in Bolivia.

That's why history classes in school don't get up to the 1970's too often. But even our involvement during the Eisenhower years in Guatemala is not even mentioned, and they dealt with more suffering than Chile from 73 to 90
