Now we had the 'live' beheading of a US citizen shown over the web - Just where does all this stop? -- Someone tried to explain the 'reasons' behind these new terrorist factions in Iraq , to me. I still don't see why these 'clerics' are needing to wave sub machine guns in the air -- while 'preaching' the words of their God. The street chanting crowds scenes also show many hundreds of young boys -- IMO under 16 -- being whipped up into a frenzy by these gun waving leaders. Religion does seem to be the root of this even though so many learned persons expound that religion has nothing whatever to do with it!

It now seems that those Daily Mirror photo's were complete fakes - - so fake that the Editor Mr Morgan was sacked over 'standing by' the claims that they were real! --- Too late to repair the damage they have done !

He should be thrown in prison for what he's done. Typical spoon fed t***. I hope someone gets to him and gives him a good smack in the teeth, f*** idiot. Like you mentioned, it was all over the news wht the scum will do to the allied soldiers/workers over in Iraq. These bastards need blasting off the face of the earth.

Even if the British pictures were real, a former military guy (Morgan) should have realised that publishing them was a big mistake. Now i'm not saying that torture should be accepted, but publishing them on the front page of a national paper was stupidity. Now they have proven they are fake, Morgan should serve a prison sentence, or more ideal, sent over to Iraq and put into the position he ha sput our soldiers in.

As for the Mirror, worst paper. All rubbish, attention seeking crap.

I'm best off with the Sport for utter crap, at least there's a strong sense of humour in it's "stories", not to mention sometimes a nice lady on the centre pages

The thing is though, the damage has been done by the 'overkill' regards the Photos of the tortures -
I doubt very much that even a Public Apology will 'heal' the wounds to the Lancs. Barracks pointed out by the Mirror

Sending Morgan to Iraq would serve no purpose whatsoever, after all Dave, we UK tax payers would be funding the flight! Better to spend that money on something more worth while!
