Brilliant to meet fellow forum members over the weekend at the Fanatically events -
Sandy Shaw, stussyboy, OakeyDokey, potentially others too? Petheads certainly know how to have a good time and help make sure everyone else does too! What an absolutely brilliant group of people. It was a pleasure to meet new PSB fans and In Depth listeners and put some faces to names and avatars. We literally had 18 year olds and a 69 year old, guests from Sweden and Ireland - and of course Andy the organiser was over from Australia.
Appreciate the timing wasn’t great for everyone given summer holidays and also the Dreamworld schedule which came out after the venue was booked - don’t they usually take August off?
There was dancing until 2am on the Saturday, making it a full seven-hour session for many. 18 year old Min was thrilled to win the signed Nonetheless vinyl in our PSB raffle.
The walk was a big hit - 27,000 steps across five-and-a-half hours as we visited 30 locations from PSB lyrics and history. Spirits stayed high throughout!
We even took the opportunity to do something long overdue: erect a blue heritage plaque at 203 King’s Road, where Neil and Chris first met back in 1981!
Thanks to everyone that came along and helped make it such good fun.

Thanks to Dog (Chris) and Andy and all involved in staging a brilliant weekend for hardcore Petheads! The disco was crazy and I was thrilled when the music went on and on after the expected end time of 1am! It was a joy to meet friends old and new. Luckily I had booked an Airbnb a few minutes from Zodiac and had a decent sleep before getting up to do it all over again with the mega guided tour. Thanks so much again, you made an old(er) Pethead feel young again!

Looks like a great time was had by all.
Maybe next time tea out of PSB teacups on the picnic?!

Ahhhh, looks awesome, sorry I couldn’t make it but nice to recognize some of the faces there!
The blue plaque is long overdue. How do we make it permanent?!

Seconded - had a great time. Chris and Andy were so friendly and most importantly, played fantastic tunes all night. I couldn't make the walk the next day, had to dash to get the last train home during the extended breakdown version of Being Boring at 00:17.
But my God, I am so impressed by that blue plaque!
I used to live on the Kings Road in a shabby flatshare and I still use the same dentist there. Will have to look out for the plaque the next time I get my own plaque removed

Sounds amazing! I did price getting there, staying there and flying out of London instead of Bristol, after Cardiff, but I'm going to have to blame the dog here, because the kennels were full and she couldn't stay any extra nights
Next time!

It's so great to see fans meeting and hanging out together in London. Well done.
Once upon a time, we used to meet and hang out in St. Petersburg, but time has passed and it's not the same anymore.
And there was a time when we used to meet Neil, and now everything has changed dramatically, but I still want to wish you well and happiness.
In general, our mentality is a little different and I noticed that in Europe it is not customary to go to meetings actively and everyone keeps a certain distance so as not to bother each other. In general, considering that Neil and Chris live in London, they could hang out with you for an hour or two. It wouldn't be too stressful for them.

Gee I got no work done in the last two hours thanks to this!
Must of been fun to be there on the day, the mix does a top job - lot's of ecstatic moments.
And the extra bits added about being a PSBoy in public had me spluttering on my drink! (no spoilers)

Ah that’s great - really glad you liked it

I took some samples from the old 1988 BBC 2 documentary That Was Then, This Is Now.
