The 64-page, hardback book will include:
  • Archive: A history of the Pet Shop Boys in 20 objects. Chris and Neil talk about a selection of random but revealing items pulled from their studio basement.
  • Chris Heath documents PSB’s summer weekend in Warwickshire during which they performed Dreamworld Live at historic Warwick Castle.
  • A feature on an iconic 80s moment (which one you’ll have to wait and see).
  • Plus exclusive photographs, your letters answered, news and more.
Seems pretty good to me! The "news" bit stands out.

I have a feeling the days of "free" CD's are over now we're back at Parlophone.

The green colour is interesting, but t-shirt not for me (by the way the Disco 5 t-shirt is magnificent!)

I feel like Neil and Chris have fully rejected the notion of being a band that doesn't look back now. It's completely fair - these are landmark years now, and should be celebrated.

Sounds like dropping “2026” from the title would make sense. I love a different look at the history… but really want an insight into what’s been happing over the last year, and what’s being worked on. Also, it’s all about the music. New music on a CD, with a book to read alongside it, next year, please.

LOL - not that I can prove it but I’d told myself months back ‘we’re long overdue lime green - gotta be 2026, right?’ Looks good.

Ordered, doubt we’ll see the free CD again.
Just for the sake of it, make sure you're always frowning. :|
It shows the world that you've got substance and depth.

I love the color. I splurged on the T-shirt bundle this time.
The 20 objects should be interesting. I recall Neil giving a glimpse of the storage room in an interview.

Yes! I've just taken my life in my hands and ordered my copy through the store. Paid $41.70 instead of £41.20 from the UK store, so I suppose that's a savings of about a third of the UK price with shipping, which is nice. We'll see if it's a savings in time too.

Love the color too, but I still can't bring myself to buy a t-shirt. Came close with the 2025 one but nahhhhh....

Let’s find some objects and generate a secret… hope this isn’t scraping the barrel for fillers. No CD etc which is a shame.
Yes, this does look very underwhelming. When they had the CDs, there was a point to continuing with Annually but now it's just some random crap. This year's Shoot! annual was £3.49 in Lidl. Annually is significantly overpriced.

See, they spoilt you all when they started out with the CDs. Also, I suspect that Shoot! has a much larger print run and probably some advertising?

Me, I'm still a young enough fan that I look forward to the annual company report. It's considerably cheaper than our school yearbook (similarly spec'd) and I'll find it way more interesting.

You guys will complain about anything, it's amazing.

We got a total of one CD during the whole run of Literally. The last 'era' had two EPs worth of additional tracks between Furthermore and the Nonetheless deluxe, along with four singles with multiple B-sides. Maybe they need a beat. It's okay for Annually to have the occasional CD, I'm not sure when that became an entitlement.

Is is expensive? Yes. Is it overpriced? Well... no. Not based on the cost of manufacturing a hardcover book in full color, with what must be an incredibly limited print run, and paying Chris Heath to compile the text and someone else to design the book and prep it for print. Those things cost money, and the fewer units produced, the more printing costs.

We're lucky Pet Shop Boys still care about print engagement - no other band I know does anything remotely like this.

They're back with Parlophone, there probably won't be a free CD anymore. The Furthermore CD was supposed to be the bonus CD for that year's Annually.
