Wow. Genious!!! Here's your check, designer. We're glad we hired a proper company for this.
I mean... that's literally graphic design. The tiny details that make something better. Compare the UK and US versions of Please - the smallest difference, but it makes a huge difference. This turns the cover itself into a graphic element, especially with the text details on the side.
By the way, have you noticed the Italian 12" has the photo in the middle rotated just 90°?

All this kerfuffle over the West End girls tshirt design has got me looking at Discogs and all the different covers for that Parlophone release. Anyone know exactly how many different sleeves were released that were commercially available (so not DJ only, promo etc)?

I see at least 3 just for the Shep Pettibone 12"

There are 3 sleeves for the regular UK 12". Full sleeve, 4" die cut, 6" die cut.
There are 3 sleeves for the Shep remix UK 12". Full sleeve, full sleeve with yellow circle, 6" die cut.
European/US/Japanese copies of the 12" have the image printed on the sleeve.
European copies of the Shep 12" have titles printed on the sleeve.
The regular 12" from Spain and/or Portugal has the 7" picture sleeve.
The Shep remix from Spain and/or Portugal has the 7" picture sleeve.
The Philippine 12" has a unique Thames picture sleeve.

I think that's it???????

I think it's an abuse to charge €45 + customs for a T-shirt. Lately I've only seen merchandising launches at exorbitant prices. Personally, I can't buy it all. And less in the PSB store with shipping and customs prices so high. This for a fan is far-fetched.
