I don't know that they would even have been considered in the 80's or 90's - invites for British acts were few and far between and they didn't have awards at this level. The awards ceremony inside the concert was a real triumph and gave to the show something more. Like Chris said, it was like winning the world cup.

If I were them, I'd try to get the dancers for this show. If I could I'd also play "Go West" and "What have I done to deserve this?". Watched this show via the official link shared by the PSB. So much more entertaining to watch than the Denmark bluray, even though it lacks a few of the songs. The Boys seemed to enjoy themselves more as well.

Viña del Mar put more elements and passion. The show is one of the very best music TV shows of the world. The mix between live concert and TV show at the same worked perfectly.
