B-side material at its best.
The song title is interesting by the way.

Seems to me quite in keeping with the vibe of Agenda which I personally enjoy. On the topic of should N&C address the Gaza devastation and probable genocide, were there calls for them to address the 1970s Kibbutz movement when they wrote My October Symphony or The Oslo Accords when they recorded Go West? I think any pop-band with the gumption to tackle one autocrat should be celebrated, not castigated for failing to be some form of synthpop UN Security Council. There's been plenty of chatter this week about musicians attempting to be apolitical.

That bassline is awesome! We love them so much that we expect only the best. Thanks for the song, but unfortunately, it's not making it onto my playlist—the lyrics are a bit too cringey

It's a free demo on the net. It's not bad. Happy they did so.

Whichever way you look at it, this along with the news of their Berlin Airport escapades, it's been quite a surreal week in the life of Pet Shop Boys...

Imagine having a problem with a song mocking Putin.
Not much of a song though, is it? About as subtle as a sledgehammer.

I like it. Would make for a nice B-side. Just wondering why it isn't on streaming...

Does it need to be anything else?

Yeah..why does it matter that it’s not subtle? What’s wrong with being direct? Jeez..some ppl need to cheer up.. it’s just a funny little dig, mocking the absolute bell end that is Putin..in what is literally just a free online demo!! It’s not meant to be deep 🙄

You absolutely have not grasped the scale of the Gazan genocide, to the extent that your post makes you appear to be some sort of psychopath.

Palestinian lives *matter*.

Btw, the British govt is not sponsoring Putin's regime, whereas wrt it has cancelled democracy in aid of Israel.

Evading that is an abdication of moral responsibility.

I love this track. Great bass line, great melody and great lyrics. I agree that this qualifies to be a b-side which by PSB standards equals some of their greatest work. I hate Putin btw and I'm looking forward to A top secret washing machine (The full story)
