It was rather full but not completely sold-out. I'd say there were roughly 2,000 chairs and 1,700 people.
Yeah, indeed something like that. I was suprised to see the rather small capacity of the venue. I expected it to be bigger. Never mind, because actually I like small venues better. The best experience of a concert I ever had was at the Astoria in London: the Release Tour. I mean... this place is also rather small but the positive thing about it is that you get a much more intimate atmosphere. You are much more into the whole experience that way.

Hi Yves,

Nice review. I would have wrote the exact same thing. I have the same feeling as you when you wrote Neil and Chris were superfriendly during the meeting with the fans. Chris is soooo nice when you meet him personally. It really amazes me, 'cause a lot of the time he is pictured and described as 'moody' and 'difficult' and so on in books, interviews etc. But the only thing that I always see in him is that he is rather shy and a bit insecure.... (like me). Come to think about it.... I can be moody and difficult too....

And coincidentally, in the car I talked about Chris's health too with my 'driver' dvTB. Because I am sincerely interested in/ worried about (like you) Chris's well-being and I know what it is to have a problem with your health. It always amazed me that discussions about his well-being (health) often exploded in heavy debates here on the forum. I saw Chris in the Astoria in Londen during the Release tour and I am happy to see that I can agree with you on the fact that he looked a hell of a lot better this time.

What a great experience this was. Just FANTASTIC. My legs/knees were litteraly shaking the moment I finally got to meet them for the first time in my life. I will never forget this night. My life is complete. I will not die yet, because I want to re-experience all my PSB music again from now on!

Thanks dVTB for driving us to this event and thank you and RafBoy for this great experience!

Betty wrote:I was in Bonn too. The show was great, but most of it came from the 'tape' so I was not sure why was Chris there at all  I was in the first row (we had to sit on chairs) with some other German fans and it was great to meet some new fans too. :)

After the show I also went backstage and got my ticket signed. Neil looked fantastic  , but I didn't expect anything different.
I wondered about Chris too... - I sat in a position (on the right) where I could see his shoulder. During the encore, I went to the front to see if he was actually there  At least Neil did some live vocals...

I also went backstage, where I preferred to *observe* people getting autographs from Neil and Chris, and their reaction to it. Neil and Chris looked very relaxed. Some fan asked something about the new album (unfortunately I didn't hear the question). Neil answered: we haven't decided yet.

I also met a few Dutch fans. We encouraged them to sign in on this forum. We need more Dutch members here

Oh, come on. You can do it. Go and learn Dutch :P

The question must have been 'What's the title of the new album?'

Well... no.

If my memory serves me right, our Legend DJ played -amongst others- stuff like this: Results CD, PopArtMix CD and ofcourse.... the Potemkin stuff from the internet.

I was forced to listen to it all! :D Hehehe. I could not escape to the backseat to take a rest and cover my ears, because RafBoy was lying there throughout the whole drive. He was dreaming about Chris I imagine.......

Laterrr,
Grover.
