i struggle to have a favourite track on this, because it play's so well as a complete piece. I've listened to it loads, but never skipped a track because there's none that drag or out stay their welcome

After finally receiving my copy and press release i can say it's a nice album i'm glad i didn't download it and glad i waited for it to arrive even if EMI/Parlophone were a little slow in getting it out to me...

Shame PSB didn't release a single from it..!
You don't have to be beautiful, but it helps!

Wonder why they release Promos so soon before the album release, now everybody's downloading it and Psb will be nagging about poor sales because of piracy. I haven't downloaded it myself yet but it's tempting...

It's out in two weeks, so if they want the music mags to review the album in the September issues, they have to send out the promos in early August. Only huge bands like Coldplay can afford the secrecy, because they know that the magazines will do whatever - like go to the record company building to hear the album - to get the review as early as possible.

All bands do that except the ones that really are huge. Some years ago the new Red Hot Chili Peppers album was delivered to journalists in walkmans that were glued shut. The new Depeche Mode album promos are distributed under the name of Black Swarm and some monstrously black-metalish fake song titles. So everything has already been tried, I think, and mostly in vain, because it only takes one copy to fall into wrong hands, and soon the whole thing is in the net for the whole world to hear. So it's pretty understandable to not hinder the promotion by trying in vain to keep the secrecy - just send the promos everywhere and hope that the reviews and the features will make up for the losses of internet piracy.

Coldplay should give me the master copy of their next album - I'd use it to construct a roundabout for hamsters.

that's classic, you can't move at the moment for hearing the sods on practically every radio station

And sadly their latest dirge passes for pop music these days. Never mind that Chris Martin can't actually sing and prefers to yelp like a drunk castrato or that he looks like the geek version of Richard Ashcroft in the video, unless Crazy Frog pulls his finger out Pox You might be their first number one single. :(

Favourite track is efter all, efter all, after all

In whole it sounds boring without video.
And strange. It might make the one unfamilliar with the film think that Potyomkin was a spaceship, Some passages would be a good soundtrack for landing of UFO, some for funeral of vampire. (Da/Nyet)
