It's out in two weeks, so if they want the music mags to review the album in the September issues, they have to send out the promos in early August. All bands do that except the ones that really are huge. Some years ago the new Red Hot Chili Peppers album was delivered to journalists in walkmans that were glued shut. The new Depeche Mode album promos are distributed under the name of Black Swarm and some monstrously black-metalish fake song titles. So everything has already been tried, I think, and mostly in vain, because it only takes one copy to fall into wrong hands, and soon the whole thing is in the net for the whole world to hear.
