and you know what?? It won the 2005 Oscar for Best Song...
so, let the Academy members say 'yes' or 'no'...if only you could know the 'crapy' things sent every year "for your consideration" to the Academy...
(and I´m not saying the Potemking score is crap, I think it´s a masterpiece...)
Its impossible for them to be nominated.
So thats is why its a ridiculous suggestion.
The film must be old, but the score is new, and there is a category specially for scores, so maybe there was a chance there, but I think the bad point is that, to be nominated, the movie must be commercially exhibited on the US cinemas during the past year...
Anyway, if I were a PSB, I would try to get some info about this situation and don´t give up early based on speculations....just and idea...maybe it can´t be possible, but I don´t think that it´s so ridiculous...
