Re: Israeli air strikes
1 - If IHH is an terrorist organization, Why did you not arrest organizators?
2 - you should read it again "72 miles far from their own waters, entirely in open sea and international waters, Israel carried out an operation on a ship, a civil ship, not a military ship, one is not allowed even do this at all. "
3 - For years your Jewish lobby in America suported Turkiye against Armenia.. What has changed.. Your lobby and goverments have declared many times"It is not a genocide.Because It was not systematic".. What has changed?
4 - About Armenian Genocide : If the same things happen again(conditions + rebellions in ww1) We'll do ity again to defend our lands. Excuse me! Are you sorry for Turks who were murdered by Armenian gangs in ww1 in our lands??
5 - Mr Erdogan is right. he told into Peres' face how well they know to murder...

Re: Israeli air strikes
As you could see in all my comments, I do not wish (and will never do) to have an argument or debate about the situation in the middle east. Therfore, I never respond to any accusations people claims, just writing clear facts. The Armenian genocide happened, the IHH is linked with terror and international laws allow country to take over ships if they are about to break a siege. All these are bare facts and that is all I care.
I will only respond to #4 - yes, I do care for the Turkish who died on their land and, of course, I understand the right of people to defense themselves.
Too bad Turkey is getting more and more radical. I hope it will not end up like Iran, banned from the rest of the world, because Israel and Turkey were friends for many years.

me too..scheiner wrote:As you could see in all my comments, I do not wish (and will never do) to have an argument or debate about the situation in the middle east..
Ok!Therfore, I never respond to any accusations people claims, just writing clear facts..
Armenian gangs who live in Anatolia started killing Turks / collabrating with British / French and Russian armies. And We killed them too. It wasn't systematic. Because There was no regular ottoman Government and Army. We were making war against the strongest armies and domestic enemies. I repeat, If the same conditions happens , We'll do it again for our lands. We have opent All Ottoman Archives about armenians to historians. An dthere are more than 1 million documents. And These documents have never been translated to Turkish. But We Turks know that Our Anchestors didn't make that mistake. What about Armenia + Usa + England + Russian + France? Why do they not open their archives About Ottoman + Armenia relationship between 1875 - 1920? do they hide something? We are here to face the truth.. Whey are they? And about your words : A genocide has never happened. You should look at mirror before using 'Genocide' word. You are wrong about it.The Armenian genocide happened .
IHH is not a linked with terror. They helped the USA after Katrina Hurricane, They helped Greece, Haiti Chile after the earthquakes helped Georgia after Russian attacks etc.. It's an Israel propoganda. Remember What GW bush said " There are WMDs in Iraq" Where are they? It was a liar. And Israel Gov likes telling liars. You are wrong again.the IHH is linked with terror and international laws allow country to take over ships if they are about to break a siege. All these are bare facts and that is all I care. .

Thanks. So, I hope, you condemn Armenian gangs who killed Turks in our lands.

Turkiye cannot be a radical country. It is not possible. I hope Clever Israel people change their radical, nationalist, racist government.Because Eveything is changing. And Turkish people have no propblem with Israel people. You should thank Turks. Because We saved jews in 15th century after Europeans kicked your arses from Europe. And We saved many jews in ww2. If the same things happen again (even Today) We do it again. Because Our problem is with your Government, not with Israelis.

Re: Israeli air strikes
I agree with a weapons embargo on Gaza. So why not search the ships then let them pass ?the content of the supply must be inspected before it enters the strip (to make sure it does not contain weapens).
Israel is cutting off food, medicine and building supplies as collective punishment.
Permitted food is dumped in the sun and Israeli troops laugh and shoot at the Gazan's
trying to get it before it spoils.
The root cause is the same as it has been for decades : hatred of the Palestinians.
Israel can not exist without genocide of the Palestinians. This can only be
accomplished be daemonising and stripping the humanity of the victims.
Thus Israel teaches its people (and Glen) to hate.
An Australian woman reporter on the aid fleet was being brutally pushed around
while held in Israel. She turned to the Israel guards and said "Stop treating us
like animals". The Israelis responded "you are animals". Israel is sustained by hatred.
All the witnesses on the aid ship say the same thing : Israeli troops fired live ammunition
coming down the ropes from the helicopters. An Australian on the rear of the ship
had his leg shot to bits before any Israelis landed on the ship. The best that can be
said was that it was another botched operation.
Israel is guilty of genocide, sustained by hatred, because it is afraid of peace.

Re: Israeli air strikes
That only applies when the blockade is a legal one - something which is in some doubt. The UN certainly believes the blockade to be illegal, as do a majority of maritime law experts.scheiner wrote:International laws claims that if a boat is trying to break a siege, the country has the right to take over the ship, even outside the none-territorial water
Furthermore, blockades are only legal in a time of war, so does Israel consider itself at war with Gaza? But doesn't it condemn Gaza rocket attacks as terrorism, when in a war situation they would be legitimate? Israel seemingly wants to have its cake and eat it: war when it suits, not war when it doesn't.
If this is a war, then Israel also has obligations to the people of Gaza, under the Geneva conventions, as prisoners of war. Again, it's clear from the state of the people in Gaza that such obligations, should they be applicable, are not being met.
Not sure what relevance the Armenian genocide has to Israel illegally boarding a ship in international waters and killing people.
IHH might be provocateurs and they might be Islamists and they may have links to organisations that some consider to be involved in terrorism - again, this is not justification for illegally boarding a ship carrying aid in neutral waters and slaughtering the people on board.
It is utterly heartbreaking for people of Jewish descent like myself to see the kind of depths that Israel and its racist government are currently plumbing. Israel is supposed to be a beacon of hope in the Middle East, instead it is behaving with flagrant disregard for international law and human rights, and rapidly losing any goodwill it once had.

This isn't a football game, there are people starving and dying here - and believe it or not, not all of them are terrorists or terrorist sympathisers, there are tens of thousands of children suffering because of Israel's extraordinarily misguided policies.

Re: Israeli air strikes
Glen, let go of the hatred.
It drips from the screen and burns holes in my keyboard.
You sound like the people who refused to believe what Nazi Germany was doing to the Jews.
The aid ship MV Rachel Corrie, is named for an American hero.

Re: Israeli air strikes
theres a hundred storys on both sides in the Israeli/palestinian conflict. they cancel each other out.
just like the flotilla incident, you have a story being disputed on both sides.one side says she was run over on purpose.... by some activists, and the soldiers say the operator didnt see her with the field of vision in this thing when she was down near the debri of a house being demolished.

eitherway she was a recipient of the darwin awards for being near a palestinian house that was being demolished while that big ungainly thing was rolling around.I dont believe a word of any of these "activist eyewitnesses". they are there for a reason and its usually hostil to Israel....so.."the driver ran her over twice on purpose". but you and I werent there. the activists and the soldiers were.you choose to believe one side I believe the other.
a million storys, it all comes to a meaningless death for those 10 people on the boat, and this woman.no hero status.died for nothing. cant help anyone where they are now.just a blurb on the internet for me and you to use for our own purpose on a music forum.pointless.

Re: Israeli air strikes
This is rather interesting, no?

Saudi Arabia has conducted tests to stand down its air defences to enable Israeli jets to make a bombing raid on Iran’s nuclear facilities, The Times can reveal.
In the week that the UN Security Council imposed a new round of sanctions on Tehran, defence sources in the Gulf say that Riyadh has agreed to allow Israel to use a narrow corridor of its airspace in the north of the country to shorten the distance for a bombing run on Iran.
To ensure the Israeli bombers pass unmolested, Riyadh has carried out tests to make certain its own jets are not scrambled and missile defence systems not activated. Once the Israelis are through, the kingdom’s air defences will return to full alert.
“The Saudis have given their permission for the Israelis to pass over and they will look the other way,” said a US defence source in the area. “They have already done tests to make sure their own jets aren’t scrambled and no one gets shot down. This has all been done with the agreement of the [US] State Department.”
Sources in Saudi Arabia say it is common knowledge within defence circles in the kingdom that an arrangement is in place if Israel decides to launch the raid. Despite the tension between the two governments, they share a mutual loathing of the regime in Tehran and a common fear of Iran’s nuclear ambitions. “We all know this. We will let them [the Israelis] through and see nothing,” said one.
Prick up your ears.
