Very short and sounds like demo, need to listen more for sure.

Is it just me or do verses and chorus not really match? The start of the chorus feels way too forced.

Probably just need to get used to it.

The most underwhelming two lead singles from a new album of their career. Disappointing.

I will definitely need a few more listens. For me, Loneliness was immediately catchy and fantastic.

On the radio it did indeed sound like a demo. The vocals especially. Or perhaps "raw" rather than polished. The song itself I really like... retro sound, old story, but both the music and lyrics feel like they are very relevant to where we are, right now... in terms of world events and music tastes.

Initial reaction - meh. Very underwhelming. Not single material, album filler. That said, the 80's style backing is nice, the lyrics just aren't Neil's usual top grade.

I do agree on first listen the chorus jumps in and breaks the mood - almost a 'cut and shut' of two different songs. But, I think I need to give further listens and see if It clicks in time.

As my fears predicted by the snippet..Pretty boring single to be honest. Instantly forgettable.

Is it me or does the music in the middle 8 spoken bit really sound like some 80s Madonna single?

First impression: underwhelming, at least the b-sides. It will take a few listenings. The lyrics of DS are indeed not top grade. We'll see. I'm about to go in to the remixes now.

Solomun remix is excellent.

Is the Solomun dub mix exclusive to Beatport..?

Completely opposite for me Dancing Star is catchy from first listen while Loneliness was not but grown immensely. I'm very happy with two new album songs.
