Popped in to say hello. Seemed to be completely out of the forum. People might have noticed on Facebook that I've become a huge Severus Snape (from Harry Potter) fan. Bringing PSB back to life now. Yeah, it's difficult to be a fan of many people

Popped into my local supermarket yesterday and was pleasantly surprised to bump into Kate Middleton the Duchess of Cambridge doing her weekly shop!

She had a very large and healthy selection of fruit and veg in her trolly, I may add!

Was she taking the groceries from the shelves/pushing the trolly herself? I once met in a supermarket a famous runner (Gabriela Szabo) and she had an assistant with her to do that!
What remains in time
that didn't fade away?

She was doing it all by herself. She's often been seen in there, but this is the first time I've seen her myself. She had 2 security guards very discreetly hanging around at the end of the aisle she was in, but she was very relaxed and everyone more or less just ignored her and let her get on with her shopping.

My first thought when I saw her was "Well, there's some nice posh totty you don't see very often in a supermarket (Waitrose, mind you  ) ...." It was about 5 seconds later when I realised who she was ....

Not today but yesterday .... I went to see Mark Steele record his new Radio 4 show in Holyhead (the arse end of nowhere). Very funny and very British.

Holyhead's great; many happy memories of catching the ferry there in my youth.
