The single clocks in at just under 25 minutes. So much for speculation that this could be a 40 minute remix behemoth! The songs must be quite short...

The call and response chorus of Dancing Star is infectious and as others have noted, the track is very 80's sounding. Love it !!

The last part of the song is the sound of Madonna from the 80's-

It's dire. One of their weakest singles ever. It sounds like an average b-side. Cannot believe it was accepted by Parlophone experts.

I'm on my fifth listen of the EP's three main tracks and I like every song more than I did on first listen. Proper growers. Those of you who are underwhelmed, as I was a little, I hope you experience something similar.

I'm just glad, from the songs so far, the boys don't appear to be repeating the dirge that is Hotspot (which I thought I loved at first, but most of the songs meant less with each listen. There's two or three I still play, but the rest, for me, are muddy and forgettable).

Of course, in the coming weeks, months and years, my opinion will likely change. This is music we live with, isn't it?

In general I think the whole package is very bleak, though Sense of Time seems to be quite good. The vintage sounds of Dancing Star is so lazy. Yeah, it sounds like AI-composed song

The remix and the superchumbo had to skip them, but Dancing Star and If Jesus Had a Sister are cool, I would have made Jesus the main single, by the way the vocals on Jesus sounds a bit like it was done with AI,
Sense of Time is a no to me on the first 3 listenings. So glad we are getting 2 b sides

I wouldn't call it brilliant but it certainly is enjoyable and those b-sides are fantastic.

The 3:02 version of DS is the album version (it is now showing as listenable on Nonetheless on Apple Music).

They're two of my favourite Hotspot tracks. Something for everyone, I guess!

I've only just listened to Dancing Star tonight, but it didn't do anything much for me. Loneliness is a tad better, but if these are the two best tracks on the album, I'm not expecting this to be one of my favourite albums.

It sounds like something Madonna would have done. I can imagine Madonna singing the vocals quite easily.

Both dub mixes are well worth getting in my opinion (well, unless you've already decided this stuff isn't for you).

Wasn't expecting to get such a hard pure dance sound as part of this album campaign... lovely extras.
