Just received this update...
Dear Pet Shop Boys Fan,
Digital Stores are writing to you with a further update on your missing delivery of Neil Tennant’s book ‘One Hundred Lyrics And A Poem’.
We are very sorry that your order has been affected, the issue lies with one of our courier partners, Hermes, which we take full responsibility for.
Unfortunately we are yet to resolve this issue, all current information points to the books being lost in transit with Hermes.
We will be taking the below actions to resolve this situation for you.
We will be refunding the value of your order immediately, please expect to see the refund showing on your payment method in the next 3 working days.
We will also be sending all affected customers a signed standard copy of Neil’s book. We are working quickly with the publisher to get this organised and despatched to you.
Should the ongoing situation be resolved we will ensure delivery of your original order is expedited to you at our expense.
We will contact you again upon despatch of your signed standard copy.
Digital Stores would like to stress that this situation does not lie with the Pet Shop Boys in any way. We offer our deepest apologies to the band and their fans.
With Kindest Regards,

You should both complain to be honest. They should not have sent it out like that PSB-90.
Thanks Marie but I don't have the energy to be honest! It is bad, and you're right they shouldn't have sent it out - it's unprofessional. It looks like a classic case of someone carelessly slicing a box open and damaging the books on top. I guess they hoped that as they were free nobody would complain, even though they were supposed to be compensation for an error - and in my case I'm afraid they're right! Anyway I hope it eventually makes a bit of cash for charity...
No problem PSB-90. I think it is just a shame after all the trouble you have had. It is nice you gave it to charity though. I bet a fan will snap it up and it will make their day.

Just spoke to the store, having not received any emails.
They confirmed that packages completely lost and a non-special edition replacement will be arriving soon.
What a fiasco.

Well Digital Stores have refunded the £75 for the special edition...now to see if the signed non-special edition that they promised in return will ever turn up.
Those of you that actually received a special edition now have VERY limited editions!

Finally got the autographed regular edition of the book here on a London business trip today on 23 November 2018 (I live in Berlin)...I'm looking forward to getting the limited edition autographed version I ordered for postal delivery when I get to my holiday home in Miami in January 2019. Anyway...fascinating read and design....does anyone know why Neil and Faber and Faber...after the poem on page 235, have 18 BLANK pages after page 235 of the poem on pages 236, 237, 238, 239, 240, 241, 242, 243, 244, 245, 246, 247, 248, 249, 250, 251, 252 and 253??? There HAS to be a reason...what's going on...I mean...Neil has the 4-line poem on page 235 and then there are 18 BLANK pages after....to me...it looks like there is going to be some sort of continuation of this art piece. What do you all think?

Hello...
Books are printed in 16 page signatures, folded, bound, and cut.

And so the saga continues.... still no book (of any flavour), no email update promised for 21st, and no reply to my request for another update on Monday. I have therefore decided to email Becker Brown and bring it to the attention of band management (if they don’t already know), pointing out the negative impact this saga is having on the band brand. This is not my first run in with the online store, so perhaps I shouldn’t be surprised. I know Hermes lost the books, but the store must bear responsibility for choosing a second rate (and cheap) courier. Incidentally I’ve actually bought the book on Kindle, but in the words of Vic and Bob - “I’m not going to let it lie. Let it lie?!”

Digital stores uk and Hermes stuffed up as they sent fans who ordered one book TWO copies. See attached pic. It’s shocking. We should all kick up a huge fuss about this

Received my offering from Faber and Faber. The corner of my book is slightly bent due to posting in a poly bag bubble wrap thing. The same postcard was included (let's face it it's a postcard - it may be an artisan postcard hand knitted by Neil, but how can we ever really know!?)

So now we do know - it was hand knitted! (or at least some of them were)
