Greetings,
I genuinely enjoy the JRMX Club mix.
None of the rest left any real impact beyond being merely serviceable club fodder.

Either way, they're
still there, so if these are a gap in your collection, then get downloading!
THANKS

Did we ever find out WHY we got so many mixes of vocal? We’ve got about sixty out there and yet Loneliness got ONE

I'd bet that because Vocal was the lead single of their first self-published project after leaving Parlophone, many DJs gave them support by remixing the song.

Greetings,
I suspect they did the original demo with Andrew Dawson, knew it wasn't quite there yet, and put it back on the shelf.
Then they recorded it with Stuart Price, took it as far as they could, and were happy with the end product - solid, but knowing it was never going to rock the charts.
However, I suspect they didn't want to die wondering about whether it could have been a real "chart banger" for them on their new label in the hands of club remixer... so they put it out there en masse to remixers, but none of the remixes done elevated it to that status.
Anyhow, that's just a theory.
Retro.

Just listened to them all again, some really great club mixes in the package, and a lot of good ones unreleased,
