The yeast you can do is explain whyPatrick Bateman wrote:It could be about a young deaf and dumb boy who is a master baker.
Why only deaf and dumb?Patrick Bateman wrote:It could be about a young deaf and dumb boy who is a master baker.

Hang on. Can't Andy and Vince just use the profits from Total Pop!????? Oh wait.....Frequency wrote:I've seen an initial draft of the concept album and it goes something like this;
Andy and Vince have to get deaf and dumb progical bread baker, Billy Bagel to Kentucky for the 'world's best bread baker' contest, the prize is $100,000, which, conicidentally enough, is the exact amount of money needed for his black market liver transplant, which he needs because as well as being deaf and dumb, he also has a crap liver that will explode a day after the contest.
Of course, his rival the evil Max Von Bakewell, the world's greatest baker, has won the contest 6 years in a row and he is the only thing that can stop little Billy.
Didn't want to say anything but with him working with these top record companies daily (bread) He let me have a taster of the latest al-bun.Patrick Bateman wrote:Has s t e p h a n o leaked you the album?Undertaker wrote:I hope this isn't going to be a story about a load of gay guys wanking into the bread on some loveboat. Even if someone likes Erasure he also can, more or less like PSB and vice versa, doesn't he/she? The thing here is that some people here turn and twist everything regarding Erasure so it fits to their prejudged (and negative for Erasure) point of view while when it comes to PSB, everything is cleverly matched so it looks like PSB can't do wrong. Finally, I don't give a sh*t if somebody here does not consider me as a fulfilled PSB fan because I happen to also like Erasure. I know who I am and what I like.Minimalizm wrote:I am a member to Erasure forum but rather read the news and posts about Erasure releases that may sound interesting to me (happily skipping Mr Mig's and Stephano's wild comments (they really don't merit to read see Patrick Batemen's signature legend) and some comments about PSB (the fanaticism there is more dogmatic than here, believe me) but I very rarely try to ingratiate myself to the members of a forum of the band whom I don't give much damn and I don't try to falsely appear as a big fan of Erasure...
So why Stephano (or some other one or two names) are acting here as if he/ they really love Pet Shop Boys while we know the truth is beyond me
Whatever they need, they need it soon. I'm no expert on the music business, but I really can't see their contract with Mute being renewed at the moment, with Light... limping into the UK album chart at 29 and the first two singles charting at 21 and 33 in the UK, with the rest being ineligible (and therefore not on the singles racks in HMV/Zavvi).Undertaker wrote: Erasure desperatly need a slice of luck from somewhere. They wont do reality t.v, so they probably need someone massive to cover one of their songs, probably for charity. Or a huge injection of cash from Mute to help them promote and also produce something worthwhile. Xenomania, maybe? However, can they afford that sort of gamble? It would be like playing Russian Roulette with both barrells loaded.
Think a lot of erasure fans are too blinkered to notice.Firthy2002 wrote:It's not the campiness (I can deal with that), the music just plain sucks.
