Can't believe I'm seeing people post 'It's alright' , 'Suburbia' (one of my very favourite PSB tracks ever!) and 'Lies' in here. All totally brilliant tracks IMHO and I love them.

Not sure what I'd put up as their worst track. There are one or two to choose from!

Well the original ALBUM versions of It's Alright and Suburbia are actually pretty bland. The single mixes brought them to life. :)

why do so many people hate SOTAS? i thought it was great track and dearly wish they'd released a full length version, not the shorter edit that ended up on the b-side; it worked really well live at wembley.

i'm shocked that people have slated 'was that what it was' and ' why don't we live together?' perhaps its an age thing, but for me the whole b-side of please just sums a glorious era and none of the songs can be faulted.

least fave single - I Get Along
least fave album track - TNIFIL

ok, maybe 'atom' is not that bad..and my lugs can bare the pain of 'Before' but all the rest need to be consigned to the bin. Pronto.

I'd choose Before.

I'm in a tiny minority of people who really likes 'The sound of the atom splitting'.

Well my least favourite song is "The Calm Before the Storm". I am actually embarrassed to listen to it, which for me to say that about a Pet Shop Boys song is quite something.

I am also no fan of Footsteps on Nightlife. I just think it is so lame!

And to add to the other argument here. I have always loved "The Sound of the Atom Splitting", especially the longer version.

Oh and the worst sleeve is easily "I Wouldn't Normally Do That Kind of Thing". Terrible! What were they and Farrow thinking??!

its a great sleeve for 'I wouldn't normally do this kind of thing', for the simple reason they wouldn't normally do that sort of thing.....

so far three of us have come out in favour of 'TSOTAS'; i call on the rest of you who secretly like it but have been fearful of the opprobrium that might be levelled at you to join us! its a great track! it should be reclaimed.

of course 'go west' is cheesy; isn't that part of its charm?
