Lets face it, this track is bloody awful. Twee naff lyrics, silly boppy tune. The chorus is laughable.

We know that they're not going to release SAGS; EMI have blocked the idea. I think it's highly unlikely that we'll get 4 singles, so how about:

1) I'm with stupid
2) Integral
3) Numb / Minimal (double A-sde)

Minimal and Numb would be a good combination, commercially, as (hopefully) the soft-rock stations (Heart FM etc.) would pick up Numb, while we'd get lots of Minimal remixes; I'd hope, too that Minimal has the potential to be a sizeable club hit.

EMI said only: TSAGS will not be FIRTS single, but EMI not said :TSAGS will not be generally release as single.

i swear people are doing these threads just to lay into the people who jhavent heard these tracks yt!

A great Tennant lyric.

It's not fantastic by any means but it's better than I thought it would be from the 'reviews' and I feel it's stronger than CIH and Numb which try too hard. It's not really an album track though.

I not sure about the way he's singing it, in a low clipped voice as if he's a bit embarassed about it.

I really love Twentieth Century. In the short space of time since I`ve bought the CD I`ve played that and Luna Park much more than the rest of Fundamental yet.

I really love it. I've read people dissing it too, but I prefer it over Casanova and Indefinite .. and Sodom for that matter.

In a way, it is sort of a sequel to "Why don't we live together?"

It's very Miserablism. Which i love.

I don't dislike it, but it sounds uncannily like Momus - circa early nineties (without the eye-patch).

I always feel it's going to fade into Minimal from 3:50... Am I the only one ?

It also uses the same "whispering" sound as "Rent" in this ending part.

I like this a lot more in the context of the album than I did as a mp3. It does sound extremely Behaviourish, doesn't it?

But the song is supposed to be about 20th century?

So either it's mis-titled, or is it some general picture (though I'm not sure which worldwide-known 20th century invasion should be blamed to bring 50 % good and 50 % bad (and I'm not sure that Irak's invasion either).
