I just finished Ian McEwan's 'Atonement' which turned to be an amazing book. I loved 'Saturday' but this is even better, and so much grander in scope.

To Kill a Mockingbird: Everyone is telling me to read this,"that's great", the prob is that is I simply fall asleep reading, unless is true crime. It's like tv, I can't stand CSI, 48 hrs, Crossing Jordan, Law & Order, but I stay glued watching Cold Cases, Mistery Homicides, and everything that's real, true, sadistic, specially those that haven't been solved, those are so intriguing, you just wonder.... Ok, this is about boox, but can't wait for that Zodiac movie, bottomline, for me, fiction is boring as hell.

my girlfriend wanted me to read memoirs of a geisha, I told her I would but I only got thru 2 chapters before I realized the probability there were more chapters after that.
not sure if attempts at reading count.

Um, I'm not sure I trust a thread about books in which the word "books" cannot be spelt correctly, but anyway...
I'm reading Jonathan Strange and Mr Norrell. Fantastic book... very long but still fantastic!

I ordered This Is The Zodiac Speaking by Michael D. Kelleher and David Van Nuys, I’ll be done within 2 days. I find Arthur Leigh Allen to be so cynically fascinating. I have my theory, which doesn’t relate to the movie, though I followed the case. Whoever watches this movie or is familiarized, let me know what your theory is. Remember, innocent until proven guilty.

I read "Catalogue" aloud to my niece and nephew as a bedtime story.
Perversely, I refuse to show them the pictures. Those Pet Shop Boys are just too racy for young minds. I'm sure this will come up in therapy someday.
Otherwise, reading "Mayflower" by Nathaniel Philbrick, and the stories of John Cheever.
What's everyone reading this summer? (good bump btw).
