quoting out of context and omitting the dates does make it look as though the songs are finished. If PSB finished these tracks as quickly as it is written in Literally do you really think that it would have taken four years between full studio albums. When Neil says finished I think he means the basic backing tracks, lyrics etc are finished not the whole track ready to be released. You only have to look at Literally to see how much tweaking goes on before they decide a track is actually finished

Nu Sleaze is from Nightlife/Closer To Heaven recording sessions

Have just looked on the official site shop and looks like those are defo fake as the shop has a 2-track CD, Maxi CD and DVD listed for Numb as Numb is listed twice in CD Singles and in DVD Singles. However no vinyl so maybe the vinyl will be released a week later and will not count towards the chart.

Well, this is what Neil said about it in his diary from 2005, printed
in 'Literally' 30:




I think it's just the music being that 'demo' and it's been worked over,
maybe lyrically ...

It's interesting what they said about God willing in Literally 30. I think that Psychological really works as the necessarily nebulous and uncertain introduction to the album. I'd love to hear the original version of God willing though.

Psychological - 12"

I doubt there'll be a 7" for Numb. The tracklisting for the two CDs could still be right, though the inclusion of the "original demo" made me wonder.

I'm more interested in the overture. I hope it gets put in the exclusive tracks section of the OS.

Kool so if that is how they are releasing it surely they can chuck on another new b-side like Ring Road and Fugitive 7" mix on the 2-track or DVD as well as having Party Song, Bright Young Things. Here is hoping the artwork and finalised tracklisting is announced very very soon. Knowing my luck it will be tomorrow when I am in Cambridge all day

I know, I was just going off the tracklisting that I posted. Erm, ignore me I've lost myself now

I think the 12" will be for Psychological only, I doubt there'll be any Numb tracks on it. So basically, one week we'll have the Numb formats (CDS, CDM, DVD or CDS, CDM, 7") and the following week the Psychological 12"...

Meh, it's all guesswork till the OS confirms the formats/tracklistings
