Always On My Mind and then Flamboyant....two of my favorites back to back....even if it's expensive, I might have to go....

Everytime PSB came to Montreal, I saw their show. This one was the best. Best sound, best crowd, best visual, ... I would definitly go see it again. I wish they would come up with a CD version of the show (some songs were rearranged/refreshed). Maybe it is the Concrete album? Anyone knows?

Here's the actual song list (I noted each one on my cell phone during the show to make sure I don't forget one). The previous list is missing some of the songs. God Willing, it didn't sound like on the LP, so maybe it was a different arrangement, more classical. Anyway, I include it since there was definitly something before Psychological:

Not a bad setlist but I hope when they come back to Europe, they change some tracks with other tracks of FUNDAMENTAL.

I miss "I made my excuses and left" and "Luna Park" ...

Same here in Brazil.

I wish they come here again.

I think I was secretly hoping for "The Resurrectionist".
The fact that Luna Park wasn't on the setlist astonished me.

Also I wonder, why "Dreaming of the Queen"? That was a bit weird.

I'm sure this was pointed out in another thread but it can't hurt to bump this thread back up--was God Willing the opening in Montreal and Toronto? because by the time we got to Seattle it was DEFINITELY Bernard Herrmann's driving opening credit music to Psycho, probablythe actual soundtrack recording, in full.

I'm sure of this not onlybecause I know the film and piece well but because I actually rewatched Psycho from a new Hitchcock DVD set I bought 2 nights before.

Wasn't that "something" a piece from Psycho soundtrack, like during their summer tour (followed by GW and then Psychological)?

Definetly. I don't wanna sound snobby but I'm surprised more people don't recognize it (though to be fair I don't remember really God Willing between Psycho and Psychological )

I think some people like me werent totally happy with the setlist as there were zero surprises. I mean just throw in one obscure track for the hardcore fans like they did on nightlife tour.

I partly agree. "Heart" is quite a surprise, but I would prefer one or two more songs from the current album. Also, PSB have an impressive catalogue of album tracks and b-sides. Hearing one or two of them live would be great.

But I will be more than happy if PSB come to tour Europe with this same setlist.

Ya what abotu Dreaming of the QUeen? Flamboyant? opening with Psychological (ok it's from the new album but...) etc.. I do agree it was perhaps more of a GH tour than others (even while ignoring Nightlife and Behaviour...) but you have to keep in mind too their current US market, even the fact that they didn't sell out the smallish venues they did I think it made perfect sense--and was staged iwth enough style, thought and craft to make up for any claims of being "safe".

In the program they mention msot of the songs were picked for aving themes similar to the Fundamental tracks (politics, ie Shopping, etc)

Yeah I really did think they would do a couple tracks which would "represent" more than one of their recent projects -- for instance, doing "HERE" would represent both "Release" and "Disco 3", and doing "Positive Role Model" would represent an amazing B-side, "Disco 3" AND their musical 'Closer to Heaven'...

Well, the US tour for this year is all over now. They will be back in Europe next year, this will be good.
