It was cool, I was pleased to see the audience reaction. It was very positive! Even Better 20 million people got to hear the PSBs!!!! And a plug fo Pop Art!glennjridge wrote:ok, just saw it. was sooooooooo cool seeing them on an america hot TV show.
they both looked good, it was a REALLY faithful old school version of West End girls in fact I though it was pretty much exactly the actual please version.
I would have thought they would have used one of the many more modern versions they have done. doesnt matter it was great and and everyone in the audience was clapping. they seem like a good fit for this show. I bet they had fun watching the dancers also.
US fans PSB will be on TV - so sez the OS

You mean Nathan Holiday (yes we had to look up the dancers names cuz my friend had sucha crush on him hahah).
Neil did seem a bit shy and Chris actually was GRINNINg at the end which was strange but nice but it was a decent performance and seemed to go over very well with the audience! Pleasantly surprised
this was basically the performance from the tour without the set, right? i can't quite remember
So what are they doing Friday?

Domino Dancing with the Stars
We got to watch "Dancing with the starts" tonight it was a fabulous performance of West End Girls. We went to watch it on Gen's 60in TV in high definition (yes it's a big ass TV perfect for PSB viewing) we could actually see the sweat trickeling down Neil's Face, Chris was actually smiling and giggling and Sylvia goregous as ever! It was sooo nice to see that Nathan and Swan were there dancing as well. We also noticed, what looked like a little cold sore on Neil's lip....*happy sigh* They are sooooooooo charming!
We Totally recorded it!

This from MSN.com a small exerpt from psb's performance last night:
"The only figures on Wednesday’s show earning a more heartwarming and unlikely welcome to a ballroom than Tysonia received were The Pet Shop Boys. Little seen in the United States since the late 1980s, the Boys are back with a greatest-hits album that’s just been released in this country, so they were happy to provide a performance of the one song for which they are best remembered here: “West End Girls,” which sounded surprisingly similar on stage to the way it sounded 20 years ago. What this had to do with ballroom dancing was a bit difficult to discern, but that has been something of a theme this season."
