Don't even get me started on Scientology... I get annoyed by the pope but Scientology is just pure manipulative evil. The biggest cult in the world, founded by one of the worst sci-fi authors ever.

I agree with you on rational thinking, Greg, but we've had that debate several times on this forum and I didn't see the point of repeating it.

Scientology has big problems with the sexual abuse of children by senior
member of that "church". The children get told they are at fault because
they have done wrong in their past lives. People in the church who try
to protect their children have their lives destroyed and families are broken up.

The ethics within that organisation are 100 times worse than the Catholic Church.

Yet film stars preach Scientology, new victims are brought in every day, governments
are afraid of tackling the issue, because it is a "church".

So where is the thread on Scientology ?

All religion and superstition is wrong. Teach your children to think rationally
and accept nothing but evidence. Teach your children well.

Celebs only join as they think it makes them look good. Isnt it right that the more money you pay the higher the level you are or something?

The Catholic Church is about a million times bigger, and the Church of Scientology has practically no global influence whereas the Pope is a major player.
