I disagree. I don't like it when the US plays police of the world.
How dare they killing someone - no matter who he is - without
a fair process everyone else would deserve? What about law &
order?
yeah well when we went to war with nazi germany could you imagine during the war individually trying in court every member of the nazi party like it was a police action and not a war? honestly I dont think enough time has passed to get schooled by a german. there should be some kind of statute of limitations imposed on rightious indignations coming from germans.

I subscribe to the dennis miller view on modern germany. "you never know if germans are against war because of morality, or if because its not on a grand enough scale for them".
Man, that is pathetic, so do you think that Nazi's were killed Bin Laden style during the war? Ever heard of prisoners of war? You do know that "Team America" was a comedy right? And what is that crap about German's not having the right to an opinion? Talking about Nazi's you are acting like one yourself.

Seriously worrying. Jesus, imagine another country conducting a military exercise on US territory, now that would lead to World War 3 wouldn't it? I'm glad they got him but it is true and funny that the USA feels like it has the right to act in a way it would never accept on to itself. And sorry to say too that the USA is not the only country in the world and has no right to act like it has the right to do whatever it want's whenever it want's, sorry if you can't quite understand that. Am I allowed an opinion or should there be some kind of statue of limitations imposed on all non American's?

your making no sense. plenty of nazi were killed in targeted assinsations during WW2.thats right assasinated.
also we have been operating with pakistans aproval for years. we've been taking out terrorists in their lands with predator and reaper drones....remember? we just didnt inform them of this particular raid given their duplicitous nature.

you people have lost your way.in some silly notion to feel civilized, you'll stick up for the uncivilized. its just a silly position to take. certainly divorced from reality.we're in it. you arent. its just a TV show for you types.

You are suggesting that Pani, a German, is not entitled to feel unease at the U.S.A.'s self-appointed role as international policeman simply because she is German. You are suggesting that today's Germans are somehow responsible for what the Nazis did.

By this logic, because you are American, you are responsible for dropping the atom bomb on innocent Japanese civilians and so are forbidden from having any concerns at the might is right policy that some countries continue to operate. You are also responsible for wiping out the indigenous American population and so cannot be taken seriously when discussing world issues such as Palestine. I won't mention the blood that is now, obviously, on your hands thanks to the military adventures of the last 50 years.

Frankly, by your twisted logic, nobody would be able to participate in a discussion on world affairs because everybody is responsible for what a minority of their ancestors got up to between card games. I'd say you were trying to be deliberately offensive, but it comes far too easily to you. You're at your best commenting on the trivial. That's something you seem to have an innate understanding of.

Amazing, the American's are judging the world and telling US we are uncivilized. You couldn't make it up. And if the reality to you is blowing everybody up and not listening to "the German's" then thank God for my TV!

I really do believe you live in a "Team America" world.

doesnt work. we are targeting terrorists. to hear you sad sacks complaining about killing fundy muslims you'd think we'd were invading canada.

we are in the right. they are in the wrong, and you are the inbetween. the morally confused people who dont take a stand. no internal compass of right or wrong, just par for course zoning out on the couch of the world as long as your neck of the woods is ok.

So, just so we are all clear and there'll be no coolness between us, we cannot take Pani's legitimately expressed unease with America's self-appointed role as world policeman seriously simply because she is German?

she made my countrys reputation an issue.is it all about how much time has passed?if we are products of our respective countrys cultures I'd have to wonder how anyone could somehow meld a bitchy statement about the US trying to be the policeman of the world with taking out THE terrorist mastermind of a global terror network who caused so much destruction here.

if countrys are fair game and taken to task for their actions..and mine is for being tagged the policeman of the world..at least have the decency to be Canadian and say that and not german.

So basically, Pani is the spawn of Hitler and her opinions are as valid as America's defence of due process and the right to a fair trial?

And let's go further. If I chose to "make your country's reputation an issue", would my opinion be more valid simply because I'm only a potato-headed pixie with a penchant for red beards, interesting syntax, and copious quantities of alcohol?

yes yes, nows the time to rain on the parade of a country happy it took out the mass killer terrorist mastermind that killed over 3000 here.
everyones so level headed and introspective ....when its the other guys country that suffered the attack.

me,I'm really happy he's dead. love thy enemy? reading about his life I suppose in the sense I see a missed oppourtunity for bin laden in his past where he could have went right instead of left, theres an emotion I feel,a notion its sad his path ended how it did. thats real. thats not some phoney I actually am supposed to LOVE bin laden the enemy.

More than one comment here that is hateful, racist, or just plain old stupid.

Let's tone it down guys.

Sometimes it is.
I believe I am better off, by admitting that.
