No, DEFINITELY a lot less than staying in. It really amazes me that people see the EU as some major success story and act as though we can't survive without it! Total and utter nonsense. It isn't a massive success story. Never said it was. But it's a hell of a lot better than the alternative...if there is one. Incidentally we didn't vote to join in 1975. We voted to stay in. Can't agree with either of you. Brexit is fraught with danger. Staying in the EU also had drawbacks. However, there is little evidence produced following the vote that the UK economy will be better out of the EU market and an announcement yesterday that inflation is overtaking pay increases......all economically predicted given sterlings 15% reduction in value since the vote.
Better than the alternative? What, of having full freedom and sovereignty returned to us, the ability to trade with the world on our own terms with our own best interests at heart with the ability to control our borders and choose who comes here. What are you on about? We don't need the undemocratic EU to be a success, quite why or how people can have such faith in the EU and so little faith in our own country shocks and amazes me frankly.
