For anyone who has seen the show- was there any merchandise available?

Actually, I don't like these kind of things to be honest. I just want to enter the auditorium, take my seat and enjoy the performance, without running the risk of being involved in the production.

Are there any 'safe' places by the way? Places where there's little to no chance of getting a lap dance from one of the cast members?

When I attended the interaction was minimal even though I was quite up for it. If you are at a table you have a card you can flip to show that you DON'T want interaction! Another thought is that you can sit round the back of a table rather than nearer the cast just to be sure to be sure....

We finally got to see the electric new production of “Closer to Heaven” which opened at the Turbine Theatre in London last month and has just had its run extended. Excellent cast and immersive staging (which is what we imagined when we were writing it with Jonathan Harvey 25 years ago). And it was lovely to meet the cast afterwards. We’re going again next month! Neil and Chris xx
