What a fantastic rich and moody album. Played it non stop in my dad's car everywhere we went, although I did often skip My October Symphony.
I used to mope on the DART in Dublin with it, Violator and Happiness by The Beloved on my Walkman. Ah, the joys of being an angsty teen.
Ah The Beloved Happiness. Such a cracking album with gems like Don't You Worry and Wake Up Soon. Loved their 'Loving Feelin' single as well. One of my go too albums.
Blissed Out by The Beloved is a great album. I have had quite a few ‘encounters’ shall we say to your love takes me higher (calyx of Isis).
