I’m torn on this tbh. One part of me wants to keep my phone in my pocket and enjoy the full experience..the other part is saying ‘FILM IT!!’ as it’s probably never going to be professionally filmed and released!!! I want to have SOME video that I was actually there to look back on!
There may possibly be a mobile phone ban, like that had at the Q&A's for Nonetheless last year. I believe people who attended those had to hand them in.. I could be wrong...
That's often done mainly for acts premiering new material before it's been released. The opposite of this show! But who knows
I wasn't in London but in Manchester (the day the album came out) we were just asked not to take film or video, no phones handed in. A couple of people grabbed snaps at the end when they stood up to leave.

You see? This is how you do things. You announce them and then people try. Good for them this time and happy for all the fans that got a ticket!
Advice from an old man. Put down the phones and enjoy the show.
100% agree - this is the way all of the recent other drops should have been handled. Let me make the decision to get out of bed early to try my luck.
I was quite prepared to come away empty handed today. Thrilled not to be, even though I am slightly barfy about how much the flights are likely to cost.

When I went to the Koko one-off show in London, there was a guy in the front of the queue when waiting who was there for the sole purpose to get to the front and record the entire thing on his phone so he could upload it to his YouTube channel. He wasn't even a 'serious' fan. Once we got to the front of the barrier he then elbowed his way to the front so as to have an unobstructed view to record the entire set...only for the purpose of getting likes/follows/views on his page. It was kind of gross.
Crazy. People do that at football matches too. Like watch it at home if you're going to view it through a tiny screen! Definitely one of the worst things about modern society and a strong argument for a large asteroid resetting everything.

"Plus guests"... I just hope it's not that poet from the Savoy shows...
Could be Johnny and Bernard for Patience of a Saint..
Where did you see that - every pic I've seen of this doesn't have "plus guests" on it.
Asking because the missus asked this morning if there was anyone else there and I assumed not.

Yeah I mean. At dreamworld I filmed from time to time. But the other day I was just checking out some bits of the Oasis show here in Argentina and the video was 2 something hours long!!! I mean this guy was there with his phone up ALL THE SHOW! what's wrong with people?
I remember throwing (empty) bottles of water to a guy that was a couple meters in front of me holding AN IPAD up through Super show. (Ultimately when other people started imitating me he had to put it down)

Did he end up to the far right of the barrier? Or am I thinking about someone else...

As others have noted though, it could just be Pete doing a DJ set...

Yeah sure. I mean, using several laptops at the same time, or start trying before time, or a particular browser. Something like that? Thanks!
I prepared by exploring the booking site, tried the ordering flow by booking tickets for a different show (cancelled the order at the last stage, of course) so I knew how to order fast. I then also noticed that PayPal was one of the payment options, and I decided to go with PayPal since it’s faster than entering your card details and go to a verification page etc.
I had two codes from ordering Volume, and I prepared two browser windows (using two different browsers). One code in one browser, the other code in the other. Both browsers got to that “please wait here” page. I let one browser do the auto-reload thing by itself, while I manually reloaded the page in the other browser. Actually, the first browser (where I didn’t press reload over and over again) suddenly loaded the page and I could order the tickets. I only wanted two tickets so I did not proceed with the second browser.

Rufus Wainwright for Wiedersehen.
I hope it doesn't count as "fan favourite"

I wondered about that. I had 3 tabs open all with the please wait page showing. I thought that if I reloaded the page, it would remove me from the place in the queue, so left them. I was into the buying page by 10.03am.

I was so lucky I think. Just booked via my Android phone sitting in a well known fast food joint. Richmond Library was only just opening at 10am and i was hoping to use a PC! I was event asked to re-start my device at one point due to bot detection etc! (I'm not a bot!!!) I tried again right from scratch of clicking though the link in my registration confirmation email and it worked.

Oh weird. The first 2 tickets I bought were through EB through SEE Tickets, and the third one went to AEG's affiliate arm AXS so I never got a confirmation like that. Hmm

Got confirmations but no actual tickets yet. But as far as I know all three were bought from official sources.

I reckon the Electric Ballroom site crashed, and they had a direct AXS link as a backup. I saw SOLD OUT on all the Electric Ballroom dates before re-trying the link and being directed to AXS.
