I know it's cheesy but I do like this new ad.

Still not a patch on the original though.

^We had to watch the original advert in a Marketing lecture the other week.

I saw the new one the other day, quite like that they've done a modern version.

I'm watching various episodes of The Friday/Sunday Night Project. I can't get enough of it. God knows why I didn't watch this when it was on tv!!

I do think that ads, like film posters, were infinitely better in the past. I remember Adam and Joe pointing out how most film posters these days are completely generic with just the stars in the poster. If you look at film posters of the 80s and before, they're genuinely artistic. Same with ads; they're just all about branding and covering demographics these days whereas they used to have character to them even if they were dreamt up by wankers on charlie.

SNAP! It's rather good actually.

Charlie Brooker now. Excellent on indulged children watching aspirational lifestyle TV.

Screenwipe and Newswipe are excellent too. Basically Brooker on BBC = great; Brooker on Channel 4 = Huq hair.

Yup, he seems to be muzzled on Channel 4's 10 o'clock live.

I've just watched the above episode, and he's pretty much on the top of his form for his pure, vitriolic truth spewing.

The pilot episode of V, I've had a look at the first season on Amazon, the premise of the show seems very interesting.
