So it seems that for Erasure "tomorrow's world" turned out to be a post-nuclear war wasteland.

Too bad, it was a good album. I guess they'd put out too many crap albums over the years to recover.

just bought the VCMG album today, very good on first listen. Makes me wonder how little shit Vince really does give for Erasure

Some of the wackos at Erasure Towers reckon that in order to stimulate the ailing forum, the obvious solution is to start charging users to be regaled by s t e p h a n o ' s transcendent unicorns and pughie's family snaps.

I hope he does what I do: charge by the syllable.

From what you say about that forum, I'm nearly tempted to pay for access myself. I'm an altruistic Keynesian. I like to spread the wealth.

lmao. Fans aren't even buying their music. Why the hell would they pay to view a fourm?

Apparently you could pay a tenner and get a pencil. If you don't behave, they have your address

Only two people have agreed to it. I wonder who they are?

lol. It sounds like a scam in the making.
How much does it cost to direct a video these days?

Well their take is that the forum has to stay open because its official and only an official forum is better than a non official forum. I don't think so, sure its great for a band to have an official forum on their official site, however PSB don't have an official forum, yet this one is sucessful. So their theory does not make sense and then its said that there are not as many people posting because of facebook and twitter. My point is this forum has always been successful and will stay that way with or without facebook.

A bright poster suggested that we should publically report those who bully. I think this could be the way forward. Be interesting to see certain bullies shamed in a thread. If they don't do it, we could always shame them here! lol.
It's sad to see the forum tear itself apart. One can't help thinking that it's because of the poor sales of TW or the fact that VCMG got more attention than Erasure. How many active users does the official forum have anyway? About 12? It must put a lot of people off when you see the whackos it attracts. It almost feels like a face saving exercise, a mercy killing, to shut the forum. Wonder if Mute are behind it. Consultations often precede's redundancy.
I gather there's even rumours of Vince rejoining Depeche Mode. However you view it, it must tear out the hearts of Erasure die-hards.
Apparently New Order and Kraftwerk went down well at Ultra Music Festival.
