Ok. I' have just got "Domino Dancing". First time I heard it: "WTF??? That voice..." Second time: "CUTE".
Right now I can't stop listening it. Love that voice.

you know,lots of people said and still say bad things about neils voice, but I actually I also like that girls voice and the production is absolutily top notch on Domino dancing and West End girls. I am so looking forward to hearing their version of drunk.

hope I-tunes gets the whole CD soon.

Grammatical errors in the title aside, I'm happy to say that I've listened to the whole album a few times now and overall I really like it.

It's fair to say it's sort of a 'mixed bag'. I wasn't blown away by I'm Not Scared or Love Comes Quickly (though they are growers), whilst Suburbia and Shopping are really great (hopefully the former will be the next single). I was fully expecting 'Drunk' and 'Being Boring' to be let-downs but I really kind of like the versions here!

The top-notch production values apply across all tracks though, even if the arrangements aren't so consistently great (often it seems as though the complexity/richness of the original versions' arrangements has been dropped in favour of some cliched Europop moments).

There's also something quite odd about hearing a young female Swedish girl singing lyrics like '..Lake Geneva to the Finland Station', but if you can accept this album for what it is - a great set of contemporary versions of classic songs (which will obviously never better the originals) - you won't be disappointed.

Whilst on the subject of covers, does anyone else agree that the version of Love Comes Quickly by Sweep on the "Very Introspective Actually" tribute album is fantastic? I'd love to hear a whole album of covers by them...
