I never let an individual's review get in the way of what I feel about an album. Just buy it, and review it personally and don't read into someone's unreliable state of mind.

Being serious i have a feeling it will be there best album since Behaviour.
One person who has heard the album has told me that it was the best album since Behaviour but after hearing the review of DazzerUKUK, I don't know.

Have faith

Dazzer,

As Minimal and Integral are you're most favourite tracks of the album, I am curious to which other songs of the PSB you can compare this.

I don't want a new york city boy part2. No men chorus...

Dazzer is wondering why PSB put Numb / I'm with stupid as a lead single and I agree if these singles are less in quality compared to others...
PSB should think about this. If they want to sell much copies of their album the first single should confince people to buy the album..

Dazzer, what three or four tracks from Fundamental do you think should be singles?

The official website said that the lead single would be 'Minimal', so I don't see what's the point in doubting the official word.

Questions questions!

Lets clear some things up..... I wasn't trying to review the album, just give everyone a flavour to what we were treated to in the office. The marks I gave were at the request of a member of the forum and should not be taken to literally. How you feel about an album the 10th time you hear it changes dramatically.

It's a great album. I like it a lot! It was played to us again in the office yesterday.

Numb is a beautiful song.....Im not questioning the quality of it. My concern about it was what they hope to achieve by releasing it as the first track from a new album. Who will play it? Will the video channels play it on high rotation? No. Hence putting it with Im With Stupid I guess....

If I was Parlophone, Id probably release Minimal then Numb.

It's definately an album of two halves. The first half is big and 'we're back' and the second is considered and enchanting.

Will it satisfy all Petheads? Of course not. That is an impossible task. Is it their best ever album ? No. Its not far down the list though and it's a massive improvement of Release.

Hope that helps. Roll on May!
And you say you never believed in luck

And... haven't they said that 'Minimal' is the first single?

Really, it's starting to get really annoying. The official website said the lead single was 'Minimal', and until they say otherwise, no other song will be.

Do you dare to make a chart of your best PSB albums for you and include "Fundamental" on it, like MrPopjustice?
