This track has something magic I can't explain (at least in english). Kraftwerk and New Order are the other two bands I like after PSB, so MINIMAL is a piece of Heaven for me.
The 4 tracks we know are all great, Fundamental will be as good as Very, I think.
All the forummers who whinge about songs not living up to expectations! What planet are you lot from? I haven't heard Minimal or Integral (Just I'm with stupid & Luna Park, both of which I love), but just what exactly is it you people are expecting? Do you think you're gonna feel like like you felt when It's A Sin came out, 'cos you aint, cos you don't remmber.
I think what you really want is to hear something like Hit Me Baby One More Time!

Losers & non-psb fans is what you are.
This is very unfair. Just because i said i don`t like Integral and Minimal and it is not what i was expecting doesn`t mean i am a loser or no fan of PSB. Nor does it mean that it should be in the Britney Spears league.
This track is what makes great albums. Thats 4 songs i've heard now and not one of them is a track that gets the 'skip' treatment. Minimal is something i've never heard from PSB before. Sounds to me like bits of Mike Oldfield, Kraftwerk and near the end, Kate Bush I think it was her song 'Cloudbusting' that sounded like the end of Minimal.
Not a second single but could be a 3rd or 4th single released, depending on what other gems Fundamental throws up.
Dare I say it without getting flamed by Underwear? This song flows right through me. In my opinion, it's neither good nor bad. It's actually quite relaxing to me, because it doesn't move me melodically... or maybe it's the flimsy "chorus" vocals (vocoder is not my fave). It's actually quite a lot less "electro" and more gentle than I was expecting. In hindsight, it was a smart move to release "I'm With Stupid" instead.
I just think you guys have weird expectations. PSB are one of the few acts who really don't sound like anyone else. If you're disappointed I think its cos you heard one really commercial PSB single that fits into your cannon of "great pop hits" and now everything else is judged in comparison. I've been there since day 1, the beginning, the formative years of my pop music education began with West End girls, and I'm so rarely disappointed, whether its a "hit" or not
some people talk about their early CD's as if they are bowing before a holy religious alter. did anyone really at that time recognize the songs on any of those CD's as being classics? I dont think so.
time has given those CD's and the persons experience of hearing them for the first time when the love affair with the PSB was new a sort of warm and fuzzy gloss.
but I doubt in the cold hard light back then it was anything out of the ordinary other than a bunch of good tunes.
The problem with guys like you is that they can't stand ANY criticism and that's weird. And wow, you've been there since day one? Bake yourself a cake then and be happy.

I don't understand how some fans can think other fans' opinions don't matter. I've liked this band since 1985, and although it's not my favourite band, I don't think any fan's opinion deserves to be called weird, regardless of how much or how long you've liked them... let alone having them be called "non-fans" or "losers". Show some respect, dude.

I just see way too much negativity on this site, real disection stuff, people feel "let down". And when you haven't been 'priveleged' enough to hear the tracks that are being ripped, it gets a bit annoying!
9 times out of 10, when I do hear the songs they're f*** brilliant
