Many congratulations, Steve. That must be a huge weight lifted from your shoulders. It would still be useful to get something arranged with the bank, though, if only to give you a bit extra until your first pay-cheque goes in. :D

Thanks for the best wishes, folks. It has worked. I have meself a job. I start on Monday at 7am. :shock:
God knows how i'm going to get up that early after 10+ years of working nights in a pub, but i'll manage - somehow.

Well done Steve and Fugitive!! Delighted for you both.

Fingers crossed something will turn up for my husband.

I spent the night in hospital with my baby girl last night. She has a hole in her heart and kept passing out yesterday. She was rushed by ambulance from the GPs surgery. All very dramatic. Thankfully it wasn't her heart causing it but a virus. The scare of that really put things into perspective for me, and looking at what other parents have to go through with their sick kids.

She's all tucked up in her own bed tonight and seems much better. I expect she'll be extra spoilt for the next few days :wink:
