I'd imagine the 1,000 LP sales this week - didn't What Records say EMI had sold it out on pre-order? - will help once we're talking about these kinds of chart positions.kimphilby wrote:Yes: 4-21-43-57-79-116
After 6 weeks, Fundamental had fallen out of the Top 200 album chart (it did reappear following Numbs use as England's World Cup KO song)
Let's hope The Later...Jools Holland appearance/ Did you see me coming?? release helps keep it at least in the Top 200.
I don't know anything about the LP, but last week 1658 sales for the reissue of Morrissey's Maladjusted album gave it a chart position of 103.Ramzy wrote:I'd imagine the 1,000 LP sales this week - didn't What Records say EMI had sold it out on pre-order? - will help once we're talking about these kinds of chart positions.kimphilby wrote:Yes: 4-21-43-57-79-116

We can probably expect Yes to re-enter the top 100 in just over a week, in that case.kimphilby wrote:I don't know anything about the LP, but last week 1658 sales for the reissue of Morrissey's Maladjusted album gave it a chart position of 103.Ramzy wrote:I'd imagine the 1,000 LP sales this week - didn't What Records say EMI had sold it out on pre-order? - will help once we're talking about these kinds of chart positions.kimphilby wrote:Yes: 4-21-43-57-79-116

Overall album sales are expected to be a fair bit lower this week.
It's coming out on Monday, the 11th. Sorry if I wasn't clear - I meant that they'd count towards the chart that was announced on Sunday week, i.e. the 17th.kimphilby wrote:Ramzy, was Yes definitely issued on vinyl this week (May 4th)?
I heard it's release wasn't confirmed and i've also seen some online stores have the release date as May 11th. Did anyone here order it and receive it this week?
So the total figure sums up to 20000 units? Not bad initially, not bad at all...NJTom wrote:#102 this week in the USA at about 4,900 units.
