There was also porn posted in one of the PSB Brit threads that turned into a PSB/Erasure battle. That member wasn't banned.

You mentioned that Victor5 was trolling, yet the points ive made above involve 2 members who hardly post anything about PSB and also seem to have gone very quiet since that Erasure thread was closed. That explains a lot as to why they are actually here.

If people like Victor are going to be banned for trolling, surely that rule has to be enforced all the time.

When the novelty wears off, people will just get pissed-off with him. It's like being told the same joke, over and over again. It ends up not funny after a while. It's a shame, but I feel the pre-emptive strike was correct.

It's bizarre to ban somebody in advance, because his posts might not be funny anymore in the future. We shouldn't be discussing the content or the funny-ness of the guy's posts, I tried to point out that he was banned on very subjective grounds. And that banning him without any warning, based on a very un-clear rule is NOT in line with the forum rules.

According to the latest 'creative' version of the forum rules, the "no nudity" rule also includes partial nudity, such as shirtless men (or, if you want to be a bit more creative, like Patrick Bateman said: a picture of a knee). Therefore, it's now forbidden to post a YouTube link to the videoclip of Domino Dancing, Paninaro '95 or Se A Vida E (to mention just a few) on this forum.

Victorin's ban is ridiculous. He's a harmless eccentric posting karaoke versions of PSB songs. Why on earth has he been banned? I'm sure if, as others have suggested, he was asked to only post in one thread and with pictures of him with clothes on, he would be more than willing to do so. To suggest that he deserved to be banned pre-emptively is nearly as preposterous as asking somebody not to post in case they influenced the content of other people's posts.

He's gone now, there's no need to mourn him as his light outshone us all and where we shall eventually wither and die, he will live forever. He has moved onto pasture new, where his voice shall become a part of the sky. God bless you Victor, you were a shining beacon in an, otherwise, exceptionally dull off topic forum.

For the record, I have acknowledged my mistake in not warning Victor5 first and because of that I have e-mailed him with an offer of re-instatement as long as his posts are made within forum rules and his videos are kept within one thread.
