I wonder if the open doors are some gay code. The two washing machines in My beautiful laundrette were both open too and those protagonists' journey ended in similar fashion. Given the unquestionable sanctity of all things gay, we really all ought to mug up on the symbolism of it all, as it may be terribly important at the next job interview.
I think you're overthinking it. It's just two people being happy together. And there are usually rules about not bringing up sexual orientation at job interviews.

Given the unquestionable sanctity of all things straight, we could all stand to cut each other a little slack, maybe?

Greetings,

I see they decided to release their (unintended?) homage to the Soundblaster Pro sound card as a single, rather than leave it as an album track. I'm not altogether convinced it's a good choice, but it's a great excuse to release and receive some bonus tracks, so I'll take it for what it is.

Retro. :)

I saw the car doors being open as representing Angel wings - freedom.

Love the sleeve. And like ANB, disappointed there is no 12".

This must have been their busiest year for decades, and they're not finished yet.

As do you, sir. If Super ever gets a Further listening there will be three discs as so many recent tracks have been from 2014-15.
I’m sure that Super will get a Further Listening as Neil alluded to it in Annually.

No huge reason, just a continuity error!

I must confess, on my bingo card of potential b-sides, I didn't anticipate Chris Lowe singing The Schlager Hit Parade in german.

I'm glad Feel is a single release, with a charming video to accompany it. Four videos from one album (none of them lyric videos)... we are being spoiled.

Es ist ohne Glück zu trauen

Sonne und Sangria
Wir rasen auf einem Schnellboot
Wir fahren nach Shangri-La

Die Zukunft ist die Gegenwart
Musik muss gespielt werden
Es ist Weihnachten oder Sommer

Sexy, sexy, sexy
Gesunde Mädchen und Jungen
Hochzeiten sind wie Weihnachten
Wir können uns alle freuen

Die Zukunft ist die Gegenwart
Musik muss gespielt werden
Es ist Weihnachten oder Sommer
In der Schlager Hitparade

Never trust a leader
It probably won't end well
The leader of the band
He knows what he won‘t tell

The future is the presence
We all regret the past
Cheers to Europa

Sneaky Sneaky...My, how the PSB spoil us :)

Feel was one of the best tunes on the album, so am pleased it gets a release, but not vibing with the radio edit. the video..oh dear, my road trip last weekend had better footage

I love the Chris Demo, I feel now he could have sung the album version with his deadpaness

"Everybody will Dance" immediately vaults to one of their best b sides in years and I wish it were on the album, with "why am I dancing" as a companion? It is such a great production and I esp. love that last verse...figment on my imagination to the end of the song, such a kicker of a track.

the remixes are decent..Superchumbo always takes their mixes to dark hardcore areas and this is no different.

such a good singles package

My thoughts. I watched the video Er..hmm Reminds me of their video Home & Dry with the mice - doesn't make sense. I noticed the signage through the video with certain phrases - none of which were from lyrics in the song. So, just don't get the video. A guy picks up another guy, they drive to the coast and run out on to the beach, then disappear?

I do like the song and will give the radio edit and other songs on the single a listen later. I'll echo what others have said - shame there's not 12" version of Feel nor is there a 12" single.

Feel is such a beautiful sentimental song, full of good vibes, good intentions, and magnificent tuneage.

It just floats along effortlessly, lifting spirits as it flies.

It's lovely to see them release a song like this as a single.

Drico.

I was just looking at the IG (@corbinshaww) for the music video director.

On one post, the PSB say "Shot on a journey across England as emerging UK actors Sam Bottomley and Tareq Al-Jeddal drive to the seaside, Corbin’s signature slogan-style artwork is displayed on banners that can be spotted in various locations along the cross-country route. Corbin Shaw also took the photographs for the single’s artwork.

And on another, the director shares "I’m thrilled to share that I’ve collaborated with @rawtape to direct the new Pet Shop Boys single ‘Feel.’ This was such a huge honour being such a fan of the group for as long as I can remember. I really fell in love with the Pet Shop Boys music when I got my own car i’d drive around with the windows down playing it aloud for everyone to hear. Music is always better in the car."

It's nice to see them support new artists!

Why? You wanna learn for when you finally decide to get out of the closet?

The amount of closet homosexuals complaining (and disguising their homophobic comments as intelligent remarks, please girls!) about nonetheless era pet shop boys videos has been insane!

I wasn't being homophobic. I made a silly comment after a lot of beer. I make silly comments on here about all sorts of things.
