Not quite the same. If there is one smoker anywhere who has never been in a car or bus, then on behalf of all drivers I apologise. However, cars/busses etc are a necessity in life today, smoking is not.

Recent studies in Italy are saying that cigarette smoke emissions are more harmful than those emissions produced by cars.

Furthermore, to the best of my knowledge, cars are only used in open spaces. When you are in the shopping centre I'm not following you around in my car giving you the opportunity to breathe the exhaust fumes. Likewise, when you are in a restaurant, you don't see me at the table at the back with my car engine running, spoiling your meal.
I rule. You don't.

Just goes to show how the stereotype about height/brains is sometimes quite accurate.

Pegas, Belomor, Prima-Nostalgia (with Stalin on cover) are not expensive- 10-20 cents per packet.
Davidoff or Parlament (my choice)- between 1 - 2 dollars

it happens so: I buy a new pack, smoke 1 or 2 then give it to my brother, because he always has shortage of his own, or leave it on the table and they mysteriously disappear. Out of 10 bought packs I smoke about 10 maximum 25 cigarettes
