My Smash CD/Bluray was packed wedged between the outer carton and my vinyl boxset. As a result it got squashed during transit, pushing the box and the individual CD sleeves significantly out of shape.
I complained to the PSB shop and they have refused an exchange as they do not take any responsibility for minor damage in transit. Ironically I can't even send it back as a return as they don't accept returns for items with damage.

Quite sure that’s illegal. You have the 14 day right to cancel regardless.
Also if an item is damaged you have the right regardless to return and have an exchange / refund.

Don’t give up.

It’s £36 on Amazon for the Blu-ray box set.
Free postage and you’re covered if it’s damaged for free returns.
Cancel yours with your 14 day right, get the refund which more then pays for the Amazon deal.
Unfortunately the Warner store is like this with other artists. It’s not the Pet Shop Boys site. It’s their new 3rd party store front. They think they are bigger than us and it’s not on.
If it’s damaged regardless of how, then you are entitled and have the right to cancel even 14 days after receiving the item(s)
Anyway … it’s their stupid packaging that caused the issue in the first place.
I’ve had 7” singles delivered by Warner music in card envelopes before. They went straight back

If ordered from the PSB shop via WMIS Ltd then they should've included a 'returns and exchange form' (Warner Music Returns) which has a description of all items on the order, you can select replacement or refund on it. Was this included with your parcel?

I'm wondering whether anyone is having the same problem with the videos on the Smash Blu-ray discs that I'm having. When I play it on my Blu-ray player, the audio at the beginning of every single video is delayed by three or four seconds. Each video is dead silent for the first three or four seconds, and then the audio kicks in. The audio is perfectly in-sync from that point on, it's just "missing" at first. Is anyone else having this problem? If not, maybe I just need to go out and get a new Blu-ray player. But I'm not having this same problem on any of my other Blu-ray discs.

Yes, but they won't accept the return because of the damage.
I'm not massively upset, the important things in the parcel were well protected. It's more the frustration that they just wash their hands of it, and the irony that the damage isn't enough to warrant a refund due to defect, but is enough to stop me returning it as unwanted. They have it both ways.

This does not occur with my discs. I've checked them both and I've started the tracks from the menu and did a continuous play. I'm using a PS4.

Fantastic remasters. Especially So Hard and It’s Alright. Great to have everything in one place on (white) vinyl. One tiny design thing… Couldn’t help notice that Together and IDOSAC images are in wrong order on inner sleeve of record 5?

...., Was it worth it? also has a longer fade out.
...
It´s not just a longer fade out! this is a slightly differente "edit" of the song.
After the final beakdown, the previous versions were:
...music..."i don´t know why"...short music... "I never thought I'd fall in love/Idon´t know why"...music.... etc
But on Smash:
...music..."i don´t know why"...music..."i don´t know why"...short music... "I never thought I'd fall in love/Idon´t know why"...music.. etc
In other words, the first "I don´t know why" verse is repeated twice on Smash after the breakdown, and just once on the previous single/album versions...
That makes you think about how many slight variants of each song are stored on the Parlophone vaults!!
I noticed that too. Beautiful ending BTW

Today was surprise and i received my copy ! the package was well protected in big box with two greenlight bio protected air bags. But what's the most interesting is that it says it was sent from estonian interpost and i don't have to pay any taxes.

Blu-Ray thoughts:-
What's with the Opportunities (1986) intro? Its jumps out of time.
The early videos (up to 1999) don't really look that much upgraded. Music is though. The bass on West End girls is phenomenal
The 2nd blu ray disc could have been put onto the one disc to create a proper chronological view
Paninaro 95 and Before look like they were filmed on the same day with the same effects
Same for Minimal and Did You See Me Coming!

Wher'es the second Twenty Something video? There's an official video for one of the remixes that has additional footage
Lyric videos are and always will be dogshit (On Social Media being the exception)
The video for Winner is as awful as the song
There is a lot more acting from Neil and Chris than i remember
Didn't realise Dainton was in so many of their videos.

Does anyone know how many white vinyl box sets were produced?

I don't know whay they changed "Where the streets have no name (I can't take my eyes off you)" to "Where the streets have no name / I can't take my eyes off you" on SMASH.
It originally made sense as a sentence with the brackets, now it's just a juxtaposition of the two original titles. Well.. not quite, as the Boys Town Gang song is not supposed to have "I" at the beginning.
It should be "Where the streets have no name / Can't take my eyes off you"

Just finished watching both discs and no problem here with the audio.
