Think it was the dub version?
I like to think of it as home...

I like the CDs over download, but not if it costs £6.99 to ship... I ordered on HMV.daveid wrote: Wed 20 Mar 2024, 4:19 pm It's released digitally three weeks before the album...and given many of us won't even get the physical CD of Loneliness 'til Nonetheless ships it's hardly an issue.
I thought it was a UK only release but it is available from Dutch physical retailers (€14,99): https://www.kroese-online.nl/artikel/45 ... ncing_Star
Ah! I had no idea about that. Thank you for the info and the link!oakey wrote: Fri 03 May 2024, 11:49 amI thought it was a UK only release but it is available from Dutch physical retailers (€14,99): https://www.kroese-online.nl/artikel/45 ... ncing_Star
Ditto - I liked DS pretty much right away but had some minor niggles and Loneliness did not click for me at all (despite being pretty catchy). Having now listened to them in the context of the whole album, they fit really well, and sound so much more cohesive, and as you say - LAYERS! So silly of me, because that's one of the reasons I love PSB so much - right from the 80's - the layers and layers of sounds buried in the songs are just next level.stopthecar wrote: Wed 17 Apr 2024, 7:21 pm Ok. I can now officially say that I love Dancing Star.
At first listen I thought : what the hell is this !!!!! ???!!!
Of course I gave it a couple more spins. And with each play I discovered new things. Extra layers. And I started to like it more and more.
And like I said now I love it.
I also had lukewarm feelings towards Loneliness. But then it clicked.
Maybe the same Will happen with the full album ? Since Neil said in An interview that he hated the album on first listen.
I ordered it from Plato and I expected it to arrive today (since it's the release date). But no email yet. Same with Loneliness which I could order but was cancelled close to release date. I do still see the single on their website though.oakey wrote: Fri 03 May 2024, 11:49 amI thought it was a UK only release but it is available from Dutch physical retailers (€14,99): https://www.kroese-online.nl/artikel/45 ... ncing_Star
The remix is a bit too "kitchen sink" but I do get a sense that had PSB pushed the envelope more in this direction for the track (or even just a single remix) it would have had more impact.telys wrote: Wed 17 Apr 2024, 10:55 am Came across this fan remix. I can't say I agree with the mix but the video is imho superior to the PSB official... if what you want is some kind of idea of who Rudolf N was.

I did, but no info about dispatch yet.
I pre-ordered it from them too more than a week before release date. Right after release date it said out of stock already and the satus is still "preorder". They have the scans so they have to had the actual CDs. I'm afraid if I'm waiting for them more, every webshop will sell out the CD.
