Abidal is one of the worst players i've ever seen. He's never had a good game. France are dreadful.

Well, Blatter wanted his all-stars at the tournament, and they've stunk the place up like a syphilitic old Parisian whore.

The manager will get blasted for this but it's the players fault. Henry, Malouda etc, all think they are superstars that can say and do what they like. Well done on the manager on not letting them run the team.

France were an embarrassment tonight - the players genuinely looked like they didn't want to be there. Their fans must feel insulted, and I dare say the Ireland players who sweated buckets for the chance to play in South Africa are as well. Good riddance.
Well played to Mexico, though. If they had a cutting edge to match their lively approach play then they'd be a genuine threat in this competition. Who knows, maybe they still will be. Good to watch.

So, who will dare to bet against Mexico and Uruguay being a draw? I reckon we are in for another West Germany/Austria classic of 1982.

I doubt it, as the runners-up in that group (currently Mexico) will play Argentina in the Second Round, and neither country will want that.

Not me, I put money on it being a draw. Got 5/7 odds, if that's not buying money I don't know what is.
