I am hearing that there may be some changes announced to the June dates, or specifically the Birmingham show at least.

Don't shoot the messenger or quote me but rumour has it that it might be rescheduled for November 6th!

Not at all. Someone (well) connected with the venue. Am trying to verify.

Thanks gareth. I and I'm sure others appreciate that.

The opening of the new Manchester venue they're playing in looks to be delayed again.

It looks as if there is some toing and froing going on as we speak, but the Brum date may remain as is! Not sure what the (potential) issue is, but hopefully still goes ahead on 08/06!

I booked tickets for the Birmingham show just this morning, plus they are still allowing tickets to be sold now. If it was in doubt, I don't think they would / should be doing that.

My partner treated me to tickets for their Berlin show for Christmas (she knows me too well!), and we've planned a long weekend around it - you have got me worried now.

I don't think there is an issue with any of the other dates tbh - and hopefully not Brum (I have tickets too!)

Still selling tickets must be a good sign 🤞

Neil revealed tonight in Manchester (ahead of a formal announcement on Wednesday) that Dave Pearce will be the support act for the UK dates…

So not the 3rd single, at least not until it's released so that will probably happen in the summer.

Any news as to when the tour DVD will be available to purchase?

I’ve had many discussions with friends over the past couple of years in regards to support/opening acts. Our general consensus had been that for well established musicians with a vast library of material to play and a dedicated fan base, it really seems unnecessary to have an opening act of any kind. I don’t know anything about this DJ, but in my opinion it’s really not necessary to have him (or anyone else) open for/support PSB.

A likely scenario is that perhaps the DJ may not be a traditional opening act, and may instead be spinning tunes while everyone waits for PSB to start- like Madonna has been doing for her Celebration Tour. This actually makes sense and worked very well. Instead of sitting around in an arena eagerly anticipating the start of the show with only the noise of the incoming crowd, a DJ (Mr. Stuart Price!) set livened things up and almost created a club like atmosphere.

Ah, this is why I was told the potential issue with the Birmingham date was the availability of the support act, which made no sense to me at the time!

Hopefully now resolved!
