Oh yes just as welcoming as pughie has been with me all these years! I am glad they are closing that farce down! He is finally coming to reality that he is not as loved as he thought.

I know that lots of you are waiting impatiently for news of the Tomorrow's World Collector's boxset, and this email* is basically to give you advance warning that everything will be announced*, and the pre-sale will start, at 6pm (UK) next Friday, September 21st.

I can tell you that the boxset will be called 'The Complete Tomorrow's World', that 100 of the sets will be signed by Vince and Andy (and will be allocated randomly!), and that I will be sending a newsletter out on the same day which will also contain all the details of the release. Lexer Music will be the exclusive stockist and they will be launching a special microsite dedicated to the release at the same time.

The reason I'm telling you all this in advance is that 'The Complete Tomorrow's World' is a strictly limited-edition release (only 1500 sets will be available) and will be sold on a first come, first served basis… I just wanted you to know in plenty of time so you can arrange to be online (or to have someone else online for you!) at the start of the presale. We've chosen 6pm (UK) because that's a good time to catch most of the world awake! All the details will also be added to the news section of the Erasure website too, just in case the unpredictable nature of email means that your newsletter is delayed for some reason…

Just to remind you, the box will contain one CD and one DVD featuring all the tracks and remixes across the 'Tomorrow's World' project that have not been commercially available, or have not been available on a physical format, plus all the videos that accompanied the 'Tomorrow's World' album and singles. The box will then contain space for the 'Tomorrow's World' CD album, all three CD singles from the album and the live CD (which you probably already own, but if not then they will all be available separately) so that your entire 'Tomorrow's World' collection can be contained in one handsome box.

I have liked Erasure for a very long time but feel "Tomorrow's World" is as bad as "Loveboat". It smacks of lazyness on the part of V & A and that is backed up by the fact it has only 9 tracks. It's an album I just don't listen to any more.
